Tarzan... when is the re-release?

hiya folks,

do you know when will Tarzan be release again? i'm collecting disney dvd and since tarzan 2 is coming out soon, it would be nice to have tarzan in my collection.

also, is tarzan 2 worth buying?

goofy108, what's the final answer then? i know uk is getting the 2-disc tarzan this may. what about R1? when? any idea? thanks guys.

Well, the answer is no one knows. With the releases in the UK there are speculations that the US will be recieving one also. But nothing has been confirmed or even hinted by Disney. All we can do on this one is to wait it out with our fingers crossed.

Considering that Disney has kept a "tradition" of releasing many of their special editions in international territories first (Sleeping Beauty, Mulan, Mary Poppins, Pocahontas, Lilo & Stitch, etc), I believe a rerelease of "Tarzan" in the US may not be that far. It's just strange they aren't releasing it before the sequel - the same with "Lilo & Stitch".
