What! Are you serious? Emperor's New Groove not funny!? Did you hit your head or something before watching it :o :P

It's a shame. :(
You can (only if you want) pay $6.95 and have Disney switch it for a better disc. But if you're fine with just the one line..then it's all good. :)

As long as you can enjoy the movie...and the scene with Kronk and the squirrel talking!

I agree this movie is hilarious! However even though I don't have the DVD(I have the VHS though) I usually won't get it until it the last minute when it turns to an OOP. I'm lazy that way!

I probably won't spend the $6.95 to replace the disc. It's only one line in the grand scheme of things. :P After all, I got it for a great price at Best Buy! :D

AAGGGHHH!!

Mine finally shipped on the 16th, and it arrived in my city on the 20th, but I haven't seen any sign of it yet. I am REALLY hoping it didn't get lost or stolen in the mail...

You are probably ok. Mine arrived in my city on April 21st, and I was worried when I didn’t receive it by the 23rd, but it finally did arrive on the 25th.

if only BB shipped to canada...i'm surprised they don't! :o

well, anyways to answer you question by Captain Hook who wrote the review of TENG (found here: http://www.ultimatedisney.com/emperor.html)
Either DVD is worth picking up; which one is right for you depends on how much you like extra features. The movie is sidesplitting fun and alone would have been enough to satisfy. The excellent sound and perfect video quality make things even sweeter. I recommend these DVDs to all! Boom, baby!
Good luck finding TARZAN; it's a hard one to find. Your best bet is through Half.com. (That's how I got my very great deal on Tarzan CE!)

in my opinion, i wouldn't understand why would release another edition of TENG. it just wouldn't make sense...

i would suggest EBAY to find a real 2-DISC TENG...but that'd be hard especially with bootlegs nowadays, even if *real* pictures as posted.

Do people really bootleg TENG? Didn't realize it was rare and popular enough to be bootlegged! Eh, what people will do...

i saw one on ebay.ca but it's hard to determine whether it is bootleg or not. Not until you receive the actual dvd. here the item i found --> http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie ... eName=WDVW

Ask for a real picture. And look at the seller's feedback. :headshake:

oh silly me! how hard would it be to actually bootleg a 2-disc version of a not-so-popular Disney film...

Well, I guess it's possible. But terribly stupid and a waste of time for the seller.

I'd recommend you buy the CE. While I'm not a big fan of the movie, I've come to appreciate it, seeing how well everything was planned and scripted as seen on the second disk. It's fun and informative, and in my opinion every Disney fan who can afford it shouldn't miss it!

I'd say it's worth buying. I bought an Emperor's New Groove single disc for $22 2 or 3 months ago because the CE was $20 more and i'm happy with it. The cover and case is better anyway. The Emperor's New Groove is a great movie!

Tarzan is a tough one to find but I found one that is pretty cheap compared to what it usually goes for on Ebay but it isn't sealed. If your still interested just check out the following topic. http://www.ultimatedisney.com/forum/vie ... php?t=8885

I think it's worth buying, even though I don't have the DVD yet. I'm waiting for the day before it goes OOP! :D
