Nope, that's not Gaston. Beauty and the Beast was made after Bambi... way way way after Bambi. So how could Gaston be in the movie when Beauty and the Beast wasn't even considered by Disney to become an animated movie at the time? .

At the 0:00:34, on the begining of "Beauty and the Beast" when we see how pretty and nice was the castle and the land that surrounded it we can see a deer, who it´s Bambi´s mother--yes, even when I was almost sleep I saw it--
and when we are on the first song of Belle, in one scene we can see a squirrel jumping to bite a fish--after we see a flash of one of the three crazy-for-Gaston gals´s undies-- that it´s the lttle female squirrel of the Sword in the Stone--when she bites the wolf--

I guess you can only see it in Full-screen because I only have the VHS and I can't see it! Stupid Full-screen!
and lately in taiwan's forum,i think someone found NEMO in brother bear! ( at the first song that the three brother catching fish,Nemo is in the net .)

well, I really don´t remember if it was on wide or full screen--give me a break,I was almost full-sleep--but I saw it on the DVD
I've been browsing and found some interesting info about characters turning up outside of their Disney movie.
For example, the Beast from "Beauty and the Beast" can be seen in "Aladdin" as part of the tower of toys the Sultan is building. Apparently Pinocchio and Sebastian from "The Little Mermaid" can also be spotted.
Belle from "Beauty and the Beast" can be seen as a townsperson during Quasimodo's song 'Out There'. Also in this number, Aladdin's magic carpet can be spotted.

I was watching Beauty and the Beast again and found Bambi's mother! Bambi's mother gets into other movies alot!
The ones that I find interesting are the ones in the Pixar movies: when Monsters Inc. was released, Finding Nemo wasn't out yet. And when Finding Nemo was released, The Incredibles were in the slightly distant future.

So many of these appearances are ads.
When Finding Nemo was released, they were already working on The Incredibles. It took 4 years to make The Incredibles. Most likely they were working on Finding Nemo when Monsters, Inc. was released. Makes sense I think.

There's a whole bunch spotted at the end of Lion King One And A Half when they all show up wanting to watch the movie again. Stitch, Pocahontas, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Genie. I can't remember who else.
The 2 Vultures at the beginning of Home on the Range are the same as the ones in the Jungle Book
In Treasure Planet, When young Jim is in bed, and he says, "Love you, too", we see a toy Stitch from Lilo & Stitch (2002) on one of the shelves next to his bed
In Lilo and Stitch A Dumbo doll appears in the easel in Lilo's bedroom. This is a nod to the inspiration of watercolor backgrounds that were used in the film.
also in Lilo and Stitch A Chinese restaurant that the characters pass is called Mulan Wok, a reference to Disney's Mulan (1998). There is also a poster of Mulan on the wall of Nani's bedroom.
