Post by DisneyHollywood »

For your information, your wrong, and 2nd, Eisner is not head of Animation any more or Dsiney. Get your facts right please.

You are mostly correct. Toy Story started it all but in 1995.
chaychay102royal wrote:Fine, if you're not willing to listen to us, then go ahead. But really-Eisner is the head of Disney at the moment. So it's a minor's word vs. Eisner's. That's really stupid
Actually, Eisner is not the head of anything anymore. I believe the head-hancho is now Iger. :)

DisneyHollywood, you sure are full of energy (and quite possibly some rage!).

It seems you are the one who is wrong and need to get their facts straight before claiming you no it all. Before Eisner left he did state that he felt Traditional Animation was dead and that Home on the Range would be the last 2D Animated movie. Now their are new leaders, this could change and of course no one wants this to happen. We all hope this isnt true but as of now, Disney is only working CGI Animated movies. There are even rumors they will turn, originally 2D Animated movies into CGI Animation. For example, Dumbo.

Everything that you've claimed as a "fact" is mostly an opinion. How am I wrong? And it's "you're" wrong not "your" wrong. You spelled Disney wrong, and I don't think you're head of animation either. He was head of Disney when 2D animation stopped, though. Honestly...

Not quite. There are plans to make it 3D, but not CGI.

Also I feel it should be said that Iger is not head of the company just yet.
DisneyHollywood wrote:I am sorry, thow I am not wrong. You and they are.
Also DisneyHollywood I am astounded that you won't even listen to reason and the proof that has been offered you! There are only CGI projects in the works at Disney! Are you honestly saying that Disney is wrong about the information they give about their own company!?

Also for a person who claims to work at Disney as a fashion designer, and actor and an animator you certainly don't seem to know much about the company!

Reading DisneyHollywood's posts now has gone from funny to exhausting. I'm simply just tired of this.

Does this mean, that to see it in theatres you have to watch with those stupid glasses and see things popping out at you during the movie?

The idea actually, is suprisingly good. Think about seeing Peter Pan right in front of you, or Ursula's tentacles coming straight at you! How cool is that?

Well, technically it's "fashion desigener", "ActorAnimator" and someone who also does some music.

I'm truly very sorry to say this, but I just find DisneyHollywood's posts to be entirely laughable, not worth the gum on the bottom of my shoe. Anything she says really should be taken with a grain of salt.

My guessing is that there's a bored pre-teen girl somewhere in California who wants to stir up trouble by purposely misspelling and yelling at everyone to get their facts straight when her own facts are wrong. A demented form of pleasure, since we all are replying to her posts, some of us even correcting it.

But back to the subject at hand: 2D animation. Be it in the form of sequels that range from good to bad to ugly or in a tv show that's good to bad to ugly, it's not the main focus of feature animation anymore for Disney. CGI is, at least since the last press conference. Who knows, maybe Iger has a soft spot for 2D feature animation and plans to bring it back eventually.

I still like the word "traitisonal". Gonna have to use it more often.

I agree with you, Bree, and I'm sorry about correcting her and making her have even more fun but it's just so annoying to see posts full of spelling errors, grammarical (I think I spelled that incorrectly)errors and logical errors. Nothing she says or does makes any sense.

LOL, my name's not Bree, that's just my avatar of the incomparable Marcia Cross and her Desperate Housewives character, Bree Van de Kamp.

Don't be sorry about correcting her, it's GREAT to have someone do the interpreting for us, lol. "Grammarical" isn't a word, you were probably shooting for "grammatical". Looks like some of DisneyHollywood is rubbing off on you. ;)

I know your name isn't really Bree, but I couldn't think of anything else to call you. Oops...I didn't know how to spell that specific word at the moment. I really should practice what I preach and have a dictionary on hand!
