Really! Wow, the lady asked me if mine were damaged or something and I go yeah. (the or something was I didn't have any slip covers in the first case, lol).RJKD23 wrote:then you should have told her to just do her job and not comment.magicalwands wrote:but wat's weird is that the lady wasn't too happy about replacing my slipcovers and actually telling me that i should buy dvds when they first come out to get the slipcovers.(only joking of course!)
Good to know you got through.

I ordered the 3 Lion King slipcovers last Wednesday and got them yesterday. I ordered Aladdin on Friday and the lady didn't even ask anything if it came with a slipcover or not. I have to phone again if Mary Poppins: 40th Anniversary Edition and Bambi slipcovers came in and I also need The Incredibles slipcover.

I would think 2 weeks at most.
R[APRIL.23]K: High School SweetheartsOne of my friends worked for Disney for years. He became disenchanted by the whole corporation and left.
Here's why:
All Disney advertises is how they are hear to serve you. They will be at your becking call. They are the Happiest Place on Earth and going there will be your Happiest Time In Your Life.
As Genie would say "Err WRONG!"
First off, there are people in this world that will never be pleased. They will never be happy no matter what you do.
Then there are those who figure, "Hey! I just spent $400 to get my family through these gates, I'll do anything dang thing I want!" And telling them otherwise deserves heavy flogging. When I worked at Disney, I had to deal with that on a daily basis. I worked at Animal Kingdom. Try telling a family that just paid several $100 to walk through those pretty gates that they can't throw a penny into the bird pond. Go on, tell them. And do it with a smile. And apology profusely to them. Grovel even. Yup, that's what Disney is like.
Working there, when it comes to ANY customer service is the worst job, IMO. Because everyone believe that guarentee of happiness.
Walking into Disney in the morning, when you got your time card stamped, they also should have stamped a smile on your face. Your face starts to hurt after awhile. Least the ones over the phone can just sound sweet, but have a grimace

Siren, that is something that has always put me off wanting to work for the Disney corporation in any shape or form; I always assume that I will end up hating Disney just one hour after working in the Store.Siren wrote:One of my friends worked for Disney for years.
