SO whats the real scoop on Lizzie Mcguire and Hilary Duff?

Post by DisneyHollywood »

Why did Hilary Duff realy leave and why did they stop making it when they were supost to make more? They were supost to make it till Lizzie was some where between High school and in College. Why did they not? Or at least make another Lizzie McGuire Movie2. Why not that even?

Disney Channel usually only makes like 60 something episodes for their tv shows. Lizzie McGuire reached that 60 something number.
I am pretty sure it was all on good terms-but dont quote me on that.

I actually heard that Disney wanted to start a new series where Lizzie went to the high school but Lizzie's mom/manager complained that she wasn't being paid enough and this eventually pissed Disney off and decided not to do anymore Lizzie shows/movies.

This is what I've heard but I could be wrong.

So why could Hilary Duff Not speck up and tell mom no.

Post by DisneyHollywood »

She could have said to Disney Channel that she wanted to do it and tell her mom no. Why did she not do that I want to know?

What about the famous actors and actrss they had on the show and what about actor Adam Lamburg and Jake Tomes? They were awsome actors. Don't you miss them? The show is better than the Nickoldeon Verson called UnFabolus. Don't you think?

Personally, I didn't think it was that great. It was okay. And Hilary Duff annoys me now. So I really don't care.

The better Disney Channel show

Post by DisneyHollywood »

Thow its better than the Unfabolus and Zoey 101 with Jamie Spears. ANd other Nick shows. It had more famous people in it then most other Disney Channel shows. The actors in it are better then the ones on the Nick shows.

I don't watch Nickelodeon. I have no interest in Nick. I'm glad I don't have cable so I that don't have to even see an ad for it or one of its shows.

I am kinda sad that they stopped making Lizzie McGuire movies. I personally rather enjoyed them.

I liked it. I heard a long time ago that Disney was going to make a spin-off series. Don't know where I heard it from, probably just a fake rumor.

I think it might have been here actually I remeber reading it to and not being very happy about it something about it being Marianda's lil sister same idea getting inside her head.

I miss the show I personaly dont like Hilary Duff but I did love my Lizzie McGuire show and I think the show would have done well with all the kids going to High school an its a shame that it wasnt worked out. All well I hope they relases the rest of the show on box sets. I would love that :D .

Poor Lizzie McGuire, Hilary Duff.

Well I hope that they make a spin off or bring the show back. It was fabulous. And why did Meranda leave a little before the movie and also in ther movie? Why won't they make another movie? I want it to come back.

Because she cannot by law if she was under age. Child actors cannot make their own decisions, it has to go through their agents, as they cannot negotiate a contract by law. And they also are too young to pick their own agents, they have to be selected by their guardians. Ever wonder why so many parents pick themselves as their child-star's agents? Just to they can pocket the 10% themselves!

Lizzie McGuire was Disney Channels most popular TV series up until Kim Possible. It reached the 65 episode limit, but Disney wanted more. Thus The Lizzie McGuire Movie was born. The movie did so well at the box office and on home video that Disney decided to do not only a sequel, but to turn the show into a prime time ABC series about Lizzie in high school. The show was supposed to re-run on Disney Channel. However, Hilary Duff decided to back out because she didn't want to be Lizzie McGuire for the rest of her life. She wanted to move on and persue her movie career. That isn't the end of Lizzie McGuire, though. Disney had attempted an animated series without Hilary Duff's voice, but that was droped. The last I heard, they had a spin-off in the works about Miranda's sister that would keep Lalaine(Miranda) on the show as a regular. In my opinion, it's over. Let it go, Disney. Just bring it out to DVD and move on.

I believe they only made one movie and that was to end the entire series.

I didnt like the show. But I heard Hilary Duff was taking drugs and Disney fired her for it. Also I heard she was pregnant.

That's funny, but no. What Hilary Duff did to Disney has happened with almost every one of their catalogue of stars they created. Annette Funiccello left Disney and stared in a string of successful beach movies. Tommy Kirk left and had a movie career outside the studio. Haley Mills left and did The Trouble With Angels and other films. I guess Lindsay Lohan is the one exception. She doesn't seem to be leaving Disney... They seem to be pushing her away. lol. She has become such a negative rold model for young girls that Disney is not renewing her contract and they don't plan to deal with her after Herbie Fully Loaded.
