What Non-Disney Movie Did You Just Watch? Vol. 2

Post by Wonderlicious »

Now that Luke has gotten in a stress over the previous thread being too long and shut it down, I'm gonna start a new one.

The aim of this thread is to list the movies that you've recently seen (non-Disney, by the way). Happy Movie Watching! :D

Hi

Post by Disney Guru »

My DOris Day Collection came in yesterday. And I watched my dvds of Please Don't Eat The Daisies, and Glass BOttom Boat last night. Warner Brothers has done a great job restoring them to their origional splendor. And all 8 films are in their OAR, in Widescreen Format. I can't wait to watch the other 6 dvds.

I've already started a topic here:

Is it okay if we can merge these topics?

All these threads should be merged together. :)

Finished The Return of the King.
The best of the three in my opinion. The only one I actually enjoyed!

Yeah maybe I will. Because I want to watch Blade Trinity but it would probably be confusing since I haven't seen the first 2.

Beaches

Etre et Avoir (To Be and To Have) - this is a very entertaining French documentary on an innovative teacher's classroom approach, which is similar to the 'open classroom' style of teaching, but a little more traditional. Pretty good. (Forgive the lack of an accent in the title :P).

EDIT: (And Beaches again, with commentary, the next day). Whaddya know... both of these movies are on the 100 Greatest Tear-Jerkers of all time, though I don't see how Etre et Avoir got there.

The Outsiders: I saw it at school. I didn't care for the book, but the movie was worse! The special effects were terrible and I even got bored! The only good thing about it was seeing other teenagers who love Mickey Mouse besides me!

I had to watch and read that book in school before. The book was alright but the movie was terrible.
