Atlantis re-release?

Atlantis re-release?

According to HMV, Atlantis: The Lost Empire is to be released in the UK in May. I wonder if it will have slightly tweaked menus and content rearranged (like the new Tarzan CE does) as well as a smattering of new features?
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

I doubt it. The original release was pretty much packed... Probably Disney just added new trailers and stuff like that..

Well, I notice the new Tarzan DVD has EasyFind menus, and the whole second disc is now labelled as BackStage Disney. I guess these little tweaks could be done on Atlantis.

I doubt it will come in a shiny cover that opens like a shampoo bottle though!

lol, for that reason, I'll just stick to my shampoo bottle edition :P

Ok, I don't know what kind of shampoo gets bought in your households, but I've never seen a shampoo bottle like the Atlantis slipcover! :P

Anyway, Could it be a mistake? I mean if it is getting released in May. I would've thought this would have been showing up in more places than just HMV!

Anyone have any more news about this?
Play.com havent got anything about it being re-released....so it looks like HMV is just getting it back in stock or something.

Shame, i was hoping it was being released with that shiny unique slipcover. :D Ah well.......

The Amazon copy I ordered 2 months ago still had it. I don't think Disney has discontinued that one...

Ahhhhh you shouldnt have told me that......anyone ordered it from play recently and still fot that slipcover? Since its cheaper there! :D

*Andy*, Atlantis is one of the best 2 disc DVDs that Disney have EVER made! It is cram packed with more material than you could imagine, It puts SE's like The Lion King, Mulan, Beauty and the Beast to shame! Don't worry if it arrived without the slipcover, just get the DVD! :roll: :P

I saw a used copy with a slipcover of Atlantis at a local video-games shop for £9.99. I might get it (I've heard people say that Atlantis is a film that needs multiple viewings to be liked, so hopefully I'll like it more. :roll:), but I'm worried about a few things. Firstly, I'm worried if the discs will be damged slightly and secondly, the shop put a sticker on the slipcover and I'm worried if it will leave a papery mark if I try to peel it off. Hmm, it's either this or Play.com...

But then id love it so much more with an amazing slipcover like that to look at :lol: Maybe someone has brought it from play recently and they got the slipcover.....or i may try e-mailing them and asking... :lol:

Wanted to look at the slipcover for Atlantis you see....... :wink:

Thanks RJKD23! Im going to e-mail play.com and ask if it does come with the shiny case....i know its the movie that counts but i think it looks so special with it. :)
