And now, finally, the moment you've all been waiting (...and waiting... and waiting) for, the final award of the year: UltimateDisney.com's Member of the Year. Over the last several weeks we've reflected on and honored members who bring humor, insight, knowledge, aesthetics, and the like to the community. Tonight's category takes a look at those who incorporate a little of all that to make outstanding contributions to the forum as well as the site at large. The nominees for UltimateDisney.com Member of the Year are:

Pinkrenata
Luke
awallaceunc
2099net

....and the Golden Mickey goes to...

:ears: Luke :ears:

This is Luke's 9th Golden Mickey award and his 3rd this year. He co-won for this same honor in 2004.

 Congratulations, Luke!
A much-deserved award if ever I've seen one!

Sorry for the delay in the award. I was busy and I really wanted to see the conclusion of the saga from Joan, and oh what a conclusion it was! rotfl That was great; I was in suspense!

And so the Second Annual UD.com Forum & Website Awards come to a close. I feel they were an even bigger success this year and I had a lot of fun with it. I hope all of you did too. Congratulations to all the winners, who are to be congratulated again, and all the nominees, who shouldn't be overlooked! Of course everyone who participates in this thriving community of our's deserves a portion of the applause.

I want to give a very big special thanks to those who helped out with this year's ceremony: Jack for the influence his stellar movie awards had on the 2nd installment of the forum awards, all of those who presented awards this year- they were all great!, Disney Guru and his Dancing Guruettes for their rousing live performance and brilliant song-writing, Ichabod for his WONDERFUL behind-the-scenes and on-the-carpet interviews along with the hilarious Joan Rivers (what a scandal you uncovered!), and perhaps most importantly to everyone who nominated, voted, sent in ideas, or even posted. This couldn't happen without your participation, and I've been honored to be your host! :)

Thank you all, have a good night, and we'll see you back here again in Off-Topic next year!

Let's move it to International DVD because Wonderlicious said that part of the forum doesn't get recognized...and it should because they have nicer covers than us! ;)

 Congrats to Luke! :eye:
...the member of the year; the site admin, and the reason for this lovely community for Disney fans! :)

And if it wasn't for you, MMP would never know the difference between a bootleg DVD and a leg with a boot or a boot with a leg!

Thanks to Joan for her wonderful interviews and hilarious comments! :o (Just hope she won't compile that list of users she wants to leave! :p)

And thanks for being such a good host, Aaron. Even if this was the longest award ceremony that I've known of in my many years of existence..

it was fun! :D

woo-hoo!
Congrats again to the UD winners as well as the nominees!
