It seems nice and the animation is spectacular from what I saw from the trailer but I'll never watch it.

I absolutely cannot wait til this is released on DVD here. It just looks terribly good. Horribly good. v.v

P.S. The narraot is talking a bit slow... He sounded more like one of those automated machines than a trailer narrator-person. XP

If it is half as good as the book than it will truly be spectacular. I predict Studio Ghibli will get another Oscar. The Dub has to be good because Pixar is handling it.

I don't find the trailer appealing at all. Call me crazy, but I don't see whats all the fuss about.

I've never seen one of these type of films like Spirited Away, so i dont know what all the fuss is about either. I keep wanting to buy Spirited Away and see what its like, but theres just so many other dvds id sooner have and that one always gets forgotten.

The only thing i've really seen like this is the anime type animation that was in Kill Bill, i really liked that. But i just dont think i could sit through a film like Howls Moving Castle. Well hopefully i'll see something like it soon.

Studio Ghibli movies are nothing like regular "anime" such as all the shows on t.v. Studio Ghibli's movies are leaps and bounds ahead of nearly all other anime and they are leaps an bounds ahead of anything Disney has put out in the last 10 years. Just because it is anime dosn't mean it is bad or boring. That is like saying all Disney movies are boring and suck because Clifford's Big Movie, Shark Tale, and Dave the Barbarian suck.

um Dave the Barbarian is the only thing Disney there. Or was that on purpose?

It seems that people are comparing non-Ghibli anime with Ghibli anime so I compared non-Disney animation with Disney animation.

Disney is handling it,too. And yes, the voice casting is great, top notch!

Just downloaded the trailer, and OMG wow! Looks to awesome for words!

Spirited Away was a good movie, but the pacing was awful. I felt like I had been sitting there for 4 hours.

That said, I have Nausicaa, Laputa, and Mononoke sitting here on my desk waiting for me to watch them.

I'm guessing these are first viewings? If so, I personally think Laputa and Nausicaa are 2 of Miyazaki's weaker and slower films, still pretty good though. Mononoke is an extremely strong film, I'm ashamed to say I don't even have the DVD yet, I need to pick that up.

I prefer Nausicaa to Spirited Away myself. maybe I'll watch all the Miyazaki's then go back to SA and see how I feel.
