Yes it is Region 2. It can play on multizone DVDs and on PAL ones. If you have a new DVD (say, from the last year and a half or so) it should work because most DVDs sold as of now are multi region!

Amazon.co.uk still has a lot of brand new Sleeping Beauty: CEs in stock. I'd consider the option if your DVD can play PAL. :wink:

I'm a little fuzzy on the Regions 1, 2, 3, 4 thing... could someone be so kind to explain it for me? Just tell me where all the Regions are.

Imagine if you bought a DVD on a plane or cruise ship, only to find out it won't play due to your player not being Region 8 compatible. rotfl
