I just said a crazy remarke on this site a while ago in the UD awards! I said:"Finally one of the few people who desereved an award won!" When I didn't really mean it, but just said it because I was mad about 2099net winning the award because I though Ichabod should've won. Not only will people hate me for a while and made me feel bad, but I might be disqualified for next year's awards!

I am sorry that your cousin is misinformed. We have a really high crimerate in Vancouver and surrounding area. Just last Saturday we planned a night out, but decided to stay in. Because it's not safe as it used to be. Just over a week ago a 10 year old and a 13 year old mugged a lady at knifepoint. Not too far from here. We've had stabbings in our movie theatre. Things like that. Women are attacked all the time. You just don't hear about it that's all.

tsk tsk T/P fan! But you apologized for it. :p tis okay, man. 8) people vote and have different opinions; everyone nominated is still a winner! :) And I don't hate you..hope that makes you feel better! ;)

purplebluelove99, that bites! Now, I don't know if my cousin was just saying that to make us feel better that she's fine in Canada or make us feel bad for living in California. :p But I hope she's fine..but I don't think she's living in Vancouver...:?
I'd be scared, too... I'd get a gun for protection.

----------------------------------

Now for my craziest thing that I've done:
We went on a <a href="http://www.ultimatedisney.com/forum/vie ... ">shopping spree for DVDs</a>! :D
and then later I'm going on a shopping spree for my essentials. ;)
My credit card's been sliding soo many times, I can hardly seen the black bar! :p (yea, lame joke.)

purplebluelove99 wrote:I don't mean to change the subject here. But someone mentioned guns. I myself would like to own a gun or two. Just to protect myself. You see we have this big unfenced backyard that everyone walks through. We've put signs up and everything. We of course have a house alarm. But we have a high crime rate so I would feel much safer if I could protect myself. But here in Canada it's hard to get a gun license. They don't give them to just anybody. There's all these strict rules. I am not familar with the gun laws in the U.S.
First, I would suggest you find out what the gun laws are but any gun will do in order to protect yourself. I mean you don't really need an AK-47 with a 50 round magizine like I have. You don't want to get anything that is illegal. Yeah, I don't know a lot about Canada's gun laws, so it's important to understand what you have to do in order to own one. I shoot for fun, or to go hunting so I keep all my weapons and ammo locked and secure. But if you want to protect yourself from intruders hide it, but make sure you know where it's at and keep it loaded all the time (with the safety on of corse). That way if an intruder does invade you can quickly obtain your gun without unlocking it and loading it (saving you precious seconds) then use it if necessary. That's all the advice I can give you. I mean that's what my friend does.

I know that there are now almost useless, but I prefeer Swords as weapons.

There´s more honor on a figth where the speed and the inteligence of the oponent can be really challenged instead of just moving a finger.

I know than also shooting it´s an art, but not all can use a sword like it should be.

Yeah but the thing about that is, unless the intruder doesn't have a gun, you would have to get kinda close to the him to use it. In other words if hes gotta gun and you have a sword, you're screwed big time.

I know, and that´s what I don´t like about guns.

Even the most coward can use one and kill someone.

Yeah, seeing how I've never had a sword before. My roomate collects a lot of swords but he doesn't use them. We should start a weapons thread, cuz we're gett'n kinda of topic here.

Well... I think we're missint tha main subject, anyway...

I think I've never done anything remarcable, but I've done some remarcable stupid things lol

Once, some friends and I went to canada, we were near by the Niagara falls, so we decide to go... WALKING!!!! jajajaja Gosh it was awfull, it taked us about 4 or 5 hours to reach there and when we finally arrived to the park it was about to close :D  jijiji nice huh?

That very same time in canada, my friends and I were walking around Quebec, we were a little -to- dirty and messy, we where tired too cause we have been walking all day long, so we sat near the dock and one of us started to sing a song, we all started to sing and suddently a lady throwed to us a coin... jejejeje that was embarrasing.... :P
Both a little scared, neither one prepared...

That's silly. I've always been tempted to try singing on the street for spare cash. I think they'd probably pay me to stop, though! :tink:
