There is this "Lucy show" DVD on amazon that is only $9.98 for a 3-Disc set and it says there are 30 episodes w/special features. there are no reviews on the page. I was wondering it is possible to have 10 episodes on a disc (I'm not saying Amazon is lying) ? Also, Does anyone know any other web site that has info on this set? And why are there so many LUCY SHOW DVDs?
The reason why so many dvd sets are available of the Lucy Show because that show is on Public Domain. And every cheap company issues them. This set pictured happens to be a nice set, pretty good quality. Also the Laserlight DVD, Lucy Show set is very good quality.

Yeah, like DG said, The Lucy Show episodes are in public domain. It's two from the first season ("Lucy and Viv put in a Shower" and "Lucy's Barbershop Quartet"), and what I'm presuming is most of one of the later seasons (when she's Mr. Mooney's secretary). The Lucy Show was 1962-1968, and Here's Lucy was 1968-1974, and the public domain eppys are most likely from the 1962-1963 season and the 1966-1967 and 1967-1968 seasons.
Many companies released them cheaply, though I've never seen the one in this thread. I have two sets, one 4-discer from Platinum Video (28 eppys, so missing about 2 in the public domain) and two 2-discers from another company which I can't remember right now (20 episodes, 19 from my Platinum Video set, and 1 not in Platinum Video). The only Lucy Show episode I don't have that's in public domain is "Lucy and Phil Silvers".
If anyone can find it, there was another thread discussing The Lucy Show, and I think it had a list of the different titles in public domain.
