Well, that's certainly not very kind to all the other winners, and probably best kept to yourself. :headshake:

Sorry if I affended anyone! I didn't mean it! :oops: I did however like a few of the other awards given out, I just was disappointed with some of the awards that all. I didn't mean to be rude or anything! I guess this can go in that thread by Isidour "Most embarresing things you've said"! :lol:

Anyways to tell you the truth I loved the choices so far. The only reason I said that was because I was mad Ichabod's other award was stolen for best avator. Don't get me wrong, 2099net is a nice guy, but I just didn't like seeing Pete chocking one of our favorite characters! Anyways I'm still trying to apologize to anyone, espiecially 2099net, for my terrible mistake of saying something I didn't mean! :oops: . Anyways does this mean I'm disqualified for next year's awards? :lol:

The avatar votes were based on not just the current avatars, but also the avatars that each user has had throughout the year in general. I think that any Little Britain fan can agree that Netty's had some pretty sweet avatars this past year.

Maybe I was being to harsh on poor 2099net. I still hope when he reads this he'll forgive me, but I was wondering what avators did he have before the one he has now?

No worries, Timon/Pumba fan. I'm sure that it's like you say and that you didn't mean any offense. We all say things we don't mean or without thinking. Hopefully there are no hard feelings on any side. :)

DG, thanks for that update. If you speak to her, please pass on our concerns.

I am a bit confused though. If the Guruettes are the dancers, aren't you their lead singer? I hope Loomis didn't get a shot off on you too!!!

I'm so glad to hear that the shot was phatal, as opposed to fatal! Thank goodness she's still alive!

Oh, and for the record, I believe the shot was fired by John Lasseter who was <i>disguised</i> as Loomis. Not really the man Loomis himself. ;)

In addition to all the set categories, the awards also bring us one special awards category each year. Last year, Luke won for Exemplary Dedication to the Boards by a UD Member. Many of you submitted ideas for both categories and recipients, and there were many good submissions. In the end, I decided to go with one of the more frequent suggestions, and one that I feel is well-deserved. This year's special awards recipient is:

Jack

This year's award doesn't have a specific title. Instead, it's simply dedicated to a member whose contributions ranked with the most abundant and welcomed contrubutions of anyone involved with the site, and who has apparently departed from the boards for reasons unknown. His mysterious disappearance led to a lot of concern and lamentation from board members and site visitors, a testimony to what an integral part of the community he has been. From daily posts to amusing avatars to informative DVD reviews to hosting the UD Movie Awards (a Golden Mickey award winner this year), Jack's input here is very much missed. With the hopes that he'll return soon, this year's Special Golden Mickey Award is presented to Jack.

Congratulations, Jack! Stay tuned tomorrow for the announcement of Friendliest/Kindest Member of the Year!

Hip-Hip-Hooray for Jack!

Not this Jack...

Not this Jack...
<img src="http://www.ultimatedisney.com/images/l-o/nbc2.jpg">

Not Jack-Jack...
<img src="http://www.ultimatedisney.com/forum/ima ... 20Jack.jpg">

Not even this Jack...
<img src="http://www.ultimatedisney.com/images/m-p/potc16.jpg">

But <b>Jack</b>, the creator of such memorable avatars as this:
<img src="http://www.ultimatedisney.com/forum/ima ... b883e1.jpg">

...and such wonderful reviews as <a href="http://www.ultimatedisney.com/thatssora ... l">this</a>.

His disappearance is most disappointing. Even if it's simply out of inconsideration, as the case might be, I think we'd all wholeheartedly welcome his return. Especially his fellow Californian and Costco buddy, MMP. If you're reading this, Jack, why don't you come on back? You are missed!

Still waiting for an Ichabod / Joan interview, by the way!

A well-deserved award. In the case that Jack still visits UD once in a while, but doesn't post, I hope that this award will bring him back for good. He belongs at UD. Yay, Jack Jack!
