*puts on gracious loser face*

Congrats Deathie Mouse. Even your win was informative, as it let me know which of the other guys NOT to listen to from now on :D

Now I'm going backstage to get drunk :P

And now to accept his award, here's deathie mouse and friend!

Image

deathie mouse: Loomis ya drunk! Can't you distinguish between Paka and Aaron?

Darth Vader: What is thy bidding my Master?

deathie mouse: Vader, get some "coffee" on him. Pronto!

*Darth Vader breathes heavily: As you wish.

deathie mouse: Ahem! ok.
Well I certainly wasn't expecting this cus i thought someone like netty would win cus he's one of my favorite posters on UD.

*UDcam pans quickly to crowd for 2099net's reaction

Image

deathiestream ensues:

I'll like to take this occasion to thank all of you, UD has become my sanctuary, and from the first day when i arrived at its borders i felt compelled to read vorasceously and soon found mysef in the company of friendly people and above all some very informed individuals like netty or joe luke loomis aaron paka the list goes on and on as i've probably learned something interesting or necessary from many many of you.

Being among such good company and truly passionate about Disney and Cinema enthusiasts in a nice atmosphere (unlike some other neofacist sites :-P), I felt compelled to post and share my inteminable dethistreams hoping some would appreciate them and those that may not be able to go through them now or haven't even arrived at UD yet maybe later might come and read or reread them and enjoy or get something out of them too that might be interesting or even helpful in their Cinemaphillic pursues. I think people knowing stuff makes for a better fan and collector and hey it helps me too when their voice might be heard to improve or make future Films/Transfers/Discs be more accurate or better too! :D

I also thank personaly all of the members who had encouraged me to post more or made comments or sent me private messages commenting on my stuff, you know who you are and really made my day :)

*Vader returns to the stage.

deathie mouse: Well, I hope UD continues being this Incredible source of info for all of us and I promise i'll keep doing my best to have earned this glorious award in my future posts. Thank you!

*deathie mouse squeezes Vader on the bum

Darth Vader: You don't know the power of the Blue Ray
*breathes

*deathie mouse throws a wink and a kiss at Paka in the audience while holding up the Golden Mickey award (which, almost inperceptible to the naked eye starts to turn into shades of blue violet and black). And with that, Lord Vader and deathie mouse leave the podium.

Hello, I'm still backstage with the Four Non-Disney Studio heads of the apocolypse!

Joan: So in typical "James Bond" fashion give us a evil monologue of your plan so that you can be foiled!

John Lasseter: Well before we finally destroy Disneyland for good we will truly send the name of Disney into the dirt!

Hayao Miyazaki: Yes for many years ago in the fires of "The Matterhorn" a great evil was forged a great evil, a pure evil! A sequel, this one sequel will bring about the end of Disney and make us victorious!

Jeffrey Katzenberg: Yes!

"One sequel to rule them all,
One sequel to bind them.
One sequel for soccer moms to buy,
and to their children blind them!"

David Brown: Yes, for you see...

John Lasseter: David! This is the last time I will tell you, now be quiet or you can go and wait wait the car!

Jeffrey Katzenberg: This sequel was created many years ago and was lost after flagonolofin son of thoguoplepinninged son of ghodforghopli heir to wepnedfredthes daughter of ugugthuopling mother of ghofghop whose uncle's, daughter's, next door neighbors, pet cat's, son's heir's...

Joan: I'm sensing this is going to go on for a while, so can you just cut to the crap?

This sequel was cut it from the hand of max Fleischer, Disney's original foe!

John Lasseter: It has been hidden for many years but now it's prescence has been felt! There have been reports of discontented children cursing the name of Disney, ritualised Disney Princess Merchandise burnings and people leaving flaming bags full of dog poo on Walt Disney Pictures doorstep!

Hayao Miyazaki: Yes hate for Disney has begun! Earlier today the 9 sequelwraiths set out to capture the sequel and return it to us whereby we will unleash it's evil on the world!

Joan: Sequelwraiths?

Jeffrey Katzenberg: Yes originally the 9 other sequels whose evil were so terrible were entrusted to Disney's 9 old men! The 9 old men who were gifted filmmakers could be trusted to keep this evil hidden, however it's evil was too powerful for them, and it consumed them! Now their ghost like essences are enslaved to us! They sniff out the sequel are making their way towards he who protects the world from it! A hobbit!

Joan: What's a hobbit?

Hayao Miyazaki: It is a very small person, often measuring only 3 feet in height, in this case he goes by the name of "Tom Cruise".

John Lasseter: Yes a side effect of the one sequel is that he who possess it has extra long life! Ever wondered who Cruise looks so good even though he is 95 years old?

Joan: I just thought he moisturised!

John Lasseter: The time for evil is also nigh! Guys! how about a combined villainous laugh? Not you David!

David Brown: Awww!

Lasseter, Miyazaki and Katzenberg: Mwah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!

Joan: Ahh! What will happen? Join me later!

And...who could destroy this evil?
To the one, he have my sword--and my bow, and my ax, and any weapon he needs from my medieval weapons collection--

Ladies and gentlemen, he's the best kind of kid one could hope for: Disneykid!!!

Disneykid: The society we live in can be quite a dreary one. People complain and
pessimistically look at all the negative things around them, taking time to
point them out on a regular basis. Then comes a person who'll look at
everything through a special lens: humor. This lens enable him to see the
brighter side of life, and even if he's just as pessimistic as the others
around him, he chooses to express his views in an entertaining way. By doing
so, this humorous person helps make life far more bearable and interesting,
bringing levity to any situation.

The nominees for Most Amusing Poster of the Year are:

Ichabod
Loomis
Pinkrenata
Maerj
Disney Guru
Luke
Jack
2099 Net

...and the Golden Mickey goes to...

Ichabod

This is Ichabod's first Golden Mickey award

Congratulations, Ichabod! We have a lot of very funny people on this forum, thankfully. You've even spread some of your now-award-winning humor in this very ceremony!

Next up: a Special Award presentation from your's truly.
