It's official, folks. Paramount has just confirmed to us that the street date for their Indiana Jones DVDs has been moved up from 11/4 to 10/21. That's good news for you Indy fans. You have nearly two weeks less to wait!
Indiana Jones now competes with George Of The Jungle 2. :o George of the Jungle 2 might overshaddow The Indiana Jones DVDs. :P

I'm not an average DVD collector: I only buy two DVDs a year. I buy one DVD at the beginning of the year, then another near the middle. I recieve DVDs as gifts during the holiday season.

Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas and The extended edition of The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers will be out on November 18. :)

You see this thread talks about Indiana Jones on DVD, and we get the Indiana Jones DVD adverts below - good if you've already explored the other ads that regularly show up. :D

I'm glad they moved it up-it's now being released 3 days before my birthday. But there's too many birthday DVD's I want-Sleeping Beauty, The Lion King, Moulin Rouge's re-issue, The Hulk, and now Indiana Jones. Ah, well, I'll manage to get them all somehow. ;)

Yeah, imagine the money we'll need to spend when we buy Finding Nemo, Indiana Jones Adventures, # The Lord Of The Rings - The Two Towers (Extended Edition Collector's Set), Star Trek Deep Space Nine - The Complete Sixth Season and Bruce Almighty in November.

Expensive $$

Most sites say that Legally Blonde 2 is coming out on November 11 while others are saying November 4.

I've been giving this some thought over the last couple weeks and I'm leaning towards NOT purchasing this Box Set. We're going to have a 4th movie sometime in 2004, correct? If that's the case, I see this whole thing being reissued sometime down the line with the 4th movie included.

Even if they didn't re-release the box set, but just the 4th movie on its own...I'm picky enough about the aesthetics of my DVD collection that it would really bug me to have three of the films in a box set and one as a stand-alone. I know...that's pretty pathetic.

I'm not an average DVD collector. I've only bought 2 DVDs my whole life, the other 16 were bought for me as presents!

On that website (above), there are two boxes pictured.
There is the darker one in the foreground, and a paler one behind it.
Does anyone know what that is?
Or is it a widescreen/foolscreen thing?

Yup.

If you look *real* close you can see that the lighter box says Full Screen across the top.
