What was the deal with The Jungle Book 2?

Post by purplebluelove99 »

The Jungle Book 2 came out in 2003 and then went into the vault in the beginning of 2004. It wasn't avaliable for even a year when it went into the vault . What was up with that? Why are some Disneys available for 2 years before they go into the vault?

Maybe it wasn´t accepted properly for the audience.
I mean, not many buyers, a not have-many-fans movie(in comprasion to others) I think it didn´t "spread his wings" propperly and fall down

I think it's to make people buy it.
You know when you hear "Going out of print", you go crazy and head straight to the store to pick up the copy before it goes to the vault! (well, that's how I would be...:p)

It wasn't very good. I'm guessing sales were down and they figured they were wasting money?? Or it was to get more people to buy it...you know because it wasn't going to be around that long...I don't know.

Disney has done that with a lot of movies. Snow White was only on DVD for a couple of months.
