you know JEREMY, that artwork is neat!
but it'd be cool if that was the outside slipcover with the textury feel and gloss to it
and then the inside is artwork of the characters..or something like that!
good job on the cool covers!

R[APRIL.23]K: High School SweetheartsHere my first version of "The Little Mermaid".

Tell me what you think of it?
And here's the original cover just for the comparison so you can't say my version is almost the same as original. And the picture of the main characters is different. My aim was to simplify my cover over the original but to save that same feeling with it and use some almost similar elements.

Simple, but classy and still carries the "same feeling" of TLM.Jeremy wrote:Tell me what you think of it?

Looks neat! Nothing's cluttered on the cover!
Good job Jeremy!
R[APRIL.23]K: High School SweetheartsI think it's okay, not that good and I wouldn't want to see that as an official cover. The background is a little too dark for a film which is light and Ariel & Co could be lighter too, but it's okay. But the thing that really caught my eye was those clouds placed below Ariel and the Prince, is it meant to be like that or is it a flaw?
Although my critical response I'm wondering if you could make a little more mature cover for the mermaid? I know it's a huge challenge, but as I've seen those remarkable coverart's for The Hunchback of Notredamé it shouldn't be that difficult.

Disney DVD's 2005: Bambi PE, Alice in Wonderland SE, Tarzan SE, Cinderella PE - much much more!
Yeah it really is a challenge and I'm thinking the way to do more mature cover, but I don't have any really good ideas for the time being.Roklie wrote:Although my critical response I'm wondering if you could make a little more mature cover for the mermaid? But I promise to do one more soon!
BTW those clouds are really not a mistake. I just placed them there to make an interesting feeling to the cover. Ya know to wonder where the water ends and the sky begins...

I think they're all great
I don't actually have Photoshop, so I can't join in, but I do have a question.
I have seen, somewhere, a cover/picture/something for "The Little Mermaid" with Ariel seated in silohette (I can't spell that, sorry) against a moon. Was this a cover or a promotional thing? Or have I made it up?

Oh_Bother
