Where did you buy the Disney DVD?
If it's a recent purchase, then you should take it back to the store for a replacement.
If not, then you have the option to call Disney and ask for a replacement (Info found here regarding how much you'll pay...or if you're too lazy to read, it's $6.95 per disc to replace).
I suggest calling Disney if your Disney DVD wasn't a recent purchase.

R[APRIL.23]K: High School SweetheartsWell, I haven't replaced any discs yet because I've been...lucky on that part.MinnieMe wrote:RJKD- to get the replacement disc from Disney- did you have to "register" your dvd? I've seen that on a few of mine- it says to register it and you can get enrolled in some program where they'll replace it if something goes wrong with it?
But I do register them just in case they ask if I really do have the DVD (when asking for replacement slipcovers).
I say you should just register all your DISNEY DVDs!
I think that's why they asked for my email that one time...to check up on my DVDs.

Yeah, without knowing what store you purchased it from, it's hard to give advice on this.
I've had to return defective copies of "Pete's Dragon" and "20,000 Leagues Under The Sea." I bought them previously-owned and kept my receipt, but I didn't have any problem exchanging them. Unfortunately, when you buy 2nd-hand DVDs, you can't always find another copy of the same DVD to exchange it for. I'm still looking for another PO copy of "Pete's Dragon."

(I think) that you'll need to pay double only if you asked to replace the whole package..Alice wrote:So if it's a 2-Disc-er I'd have to pay 13.90??RJKD23 wrote:or if you're too lazy to read, it's $6.95 per disc to replace).

I think it's best you request for everything all at once (for your own convenienceAlice wrote:Ahhh....and can you ask for them to get it back with a slipcover or do I have to ask for it the next time I call??DisneyFan 2000 wrote:

t's $6.95 PER MOVIE to replace. So if you were replacing an Ultimate Toy Box or Fantasia Anthology or the like, THEN it would be $13.90.Alice wrote:So if it's a 2-Disc-er I'd have to pay 13.90??RJKD23 wrote:or if you're too lazy to read, it's $6.95 per disc to replace).

(I'm a bit scarred to call Disney......

Well Here is the first disc:

Looks Normal right........but Wait:

That little blotch is what screws it up.it won't play in my PS2; but it does play in my DVD player (it does freeze at times) and I feel that some scenes are missing
so should I call........

on a lighter note on my "Incredibles" DVD cover frozone is....umm....handicapped:

poor Alice.
Dude, they're extremely FRIENDLY!
Otherwise, Just hang up and you'll get another person.
Yes, call.
Especially since you do have a "defective" disc...
What's with that Incredibles cover! change it!
Bear in mind that, that you'd have to pay $6.95...
G'Luck!
