Your Favorite Disney Film from Each Decade
Your Favorite Disney Film from Each Decade
Since Snow White was released in the 30s, and was the only one of that era, we can exclude it.
1940s - Pinnochio (my #2 favorite animated film of all time)
1950s - Cinderella (nearly tied with Sleeping Beauty)
1960s - 101 Dalmations (The 60's is one of the lesser eras, IMO)
1970s - The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (The only jewel of the 70's I think)
1980s - Oliver & Company (used to be really into this one. I now consider Little Mermaid to be a better movie, but this one holds fond memories)
1990s - Beauty and the Beast (Very close race between this one and Lion King & Aladdin. BATB wins by a hair)
2000s (so far) - Fantasia 2000 (not as good as the original, but still contains very cool segments. Rhapsody in Blue is the best animated short I've ever seen)

Westley: Do you always begin conversations this way?
Inigo: You seem a decent fellow. I hate to kill you.

Umm...lemme see...
1940s: Fantasia
1950s: Alice in Wonderland
1960s: Not much choice but 'Sword in the Stone' I guess...
1970s: Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, unless you think that doesn't count. In which case, The Rescuers.
1980s: The Little Mermaid! (Although Great Mouse Detective is a close 2nd)
1990s: VERY tough call...I'd have to say The Lion King, but Aladdin and B & B are right up there.
2000s: Lilo & Stitch (no brainer). Although it ain't over yet...
