Actually we have information on Disney releases, both live action and animated all the way until Spring 2006. Please see the link below. In fact, animated classics are known several years in advance. When, I first started coming to this site around the time Atlantis was released - Luke already had information on Home on the Range which was still several years away from being released.

Yes, but Disney has released press releases and trailers for other movies that are over a year away. What makes the GMD sequel so different that htey have not done any promotional work? Why would they not want to promote a movie? People do not go to movies they have never heard of.
