One more question about Walt disney Treasures, selling out
As I stated before, I ordered the Walt Disney Treasures today thru your site Luke. I was wondering also how fast do these sets sell out online? I'm ordering this set from Amazon.com. Has anyone ordered from this site last yealrL(last wave)? Did it sell out in November, December, January? I know this is a limited release(150,000 copies), I was wondering how fast they sell out online. I am ordering early to avoid the Christmas rush. This is a personal gift to myself.
Return of the King is coming, are you ready?
Of the last set, The Complete Goofy was the first to sell out at Amazon, and sold out very quickly if I remember correctly.
I may be wrong, but I think this was basically unavailable from mid-January onwards?

Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

Thanks 2099net. I could kick myself for not getting the Wave 1 & 2 Mickey Mouse sets. At least this year I can get something!

Great tip, Jack.Jack wrote:A little off topic but: Each December, Costco has had all the Treasure sets available - every single one. Each for $25. So for those who find em hard to find, if you have one in your area, make sure to check it this Winter.
Also be sure to check The Disney Store if one is close. I've gotten Tins from Wave 1 and Wave 2 upon their release for $22.99.

Just to clarify, they had every one of the available sets the last two Decembers.Jack wrote:A little off topic but: Each December, Costco has had all the Treasure sets available - every single one. December 2001 - The first 4 sets
December 2002 - The first 4 sets + the second wave of sets
So expect then to have all 11 of them this December.

Luckily I was able to pick them all (barring SS) up in the last few months without spending TOO much money.
Mind you, the Behind the Scenes, Davy Crockett and Disneyland USA ones shouldn't be too hard to come across in retail stores online (all at around $25).
Te others you will have to eBay it. There are some great deals out there if you look and are patient.
I must confess that while I did the former, I was a little lacking in the latter on occasion...
