This is just my opinion, but how can you judge an entire movie just from a couple of minutes in a trailer? You have no idea what the final film will be like! And I don't know what you are basis is but I did not see anything in the trailer that has been done before!
All my comments are pointed to the trailer, NOT the final feature. Not once did I mention a weak plot, a bad cast etc...

You're lucky it's Zach Braff doing the voice now! The original choice was Sean "Will and Grace" Hayes!

How much does this new Chicken Little have to do with the old WWII propaganda film?

http://akas.imdb.com/title/tt0035733/combined

It has been released on Walt Disney on the Front Lines DVD set and I saw it there and loved it like the other propaganda shorts, e.g. Der Fuehrer's Face and Education for Death. Then I saw the 1st trailer for this new movie and was surprised to say the least. Grave-digging?

From the looks of it, they share a title and that's it. But then there's not too much of a market for anti-Nazi propaganda these days, so I can kind of understand why Disney is taking a much different direction this time. :)

I was just in Disney World today and saw a few more scenes that will be in the movie. To me it looks funny. Plus I love the character, very cute. I was trying to think how many main disney characters have glasses, not many. I like how Disney is taking the origianal verson and showing what happens after the fact. I know disney is working hard on this picture as it was moved from a summer 05 to a winter 05 release. I also love all the actors of the three main characters.

Frankly, "Chicken Little" looks really, really dumb.

And the only reason why I'm interested in seeing the Narnia film is because the DVD is supposed to have a documentary on it. I did a play of "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" last winter and Disney came and filmed our last practice and our play and we were told we MIGHT get on the documentary.

IMO chicken little doesnt look that great... i think it will be the worst cgi film this year. This fim imo doesnt look good because it doesnt look funny. It just looks like shark tale to me with out all the cast. Unlike Robots, Toy Story an Finding Nemo Tjis film doesnt have good advertising

I've been looking forward to Chicken Little ever since I read about it at animated-movies.com. Well then the story had Chicken Little as a girl who goes to a correctional summer camp for liars.

Anyhow, from the previews I've seen, the movie doesn't look too bad at all. It kind of reckons back to the old days of Disney shorts by having the cast comprised of mostly farm animals. Chicken Little looks like a nice fun family film. It's no Disney fairy tale classic, but it is an attempt to try to appeal to today's audiences. Hopefully Disney will succeed since their past attempts to appeal to the times (Black Cauldron during the times of Dungeons and Dragons type movies) didn't work out so well.
