I didn't really watch any movies, but I watched my Gilmore Girls season 1 dvd's while pricing stuff for garage sale on the 30th. (Don't ask me why I have to price everything so early..mom's orders)
I want to see Fever Pitch, so maybe friday, since my spanish class is cancled i'll go myself to see it, since my mom doesn't want to.
I saw a preview for 'Ever After' on tv, so I might just put that in tomorrow while I finish pricing my junk. It is a true classic movie, and I know the entire movie by heart.

I just finished watching Highlander

It's a great movie, and The Immortal Edition is leaps and bounds over my old "Directors Cut" DVD, although it could use some more extras. Maybe a featurette or two.

Movie:
5 Stars

DVD:
Video: 5 Stars
Audio: 5 Stars
Extras: 2 Stars
(Out of 5 Stars for each section)
Cheers!

I just watched The Land Before Time for the first time and it was actually pretty good!
This movie was ripped off by Disney though. Dinosaur was so similar to this.

One of my favourite films.

Still don't think we have a definitive DVD edition yet.

Am debating whether to buy the newer Highlander 2 DVD and the TV series, although I am waiting for the price of the latter to come down.

See Clancy "The Kurgan" Brown being evil in Carnivale on HBO as well!

I saw Fever Pitch. It was ok, not too funny or romantic, but ok.

Was this the original English version, or the new American version?

Ummmmmm..... I think you have it mixed up a bit. The Land Before Time series began way before Dinosaur was even thought of. Just give you an idea of the time period we're talking about, I have a copy of the movie, that was bought new at the time, on BETA tape that was released on MCA Home Video (which I don't even think exists anymore). The copyright date on this tape reads 1988. So, I think it would be the other way around

Loomis, I would agree that we still don't have the definitive DVD yet, but I think I'm very happy with my copy because all I'm really interested in right now is the movie, which is presented beautifully on this disc (Plus the Queen bonus CD is excellent). So, if you aren't too worried about the extras, this is the set to have. Although, if you are looking for extras, I wouldn't recommend it, as hopefully there'll be another version with better extras sometime soon in the future
Cheers!

Yeah I know. I said the movie was ripped off by Disney :)

So what I meant was Dinoasaur ripped off Land Before Time.

Maybe I made it a big confusing but that is what I meant :P

I'll stick with the one I have for now, as I already have Queen's "A Kind of Magic" which is the soundtrack to Highlander effectively (but wasn't called that for marketing reasons).

Still, if it looks better, I might have to invest.

I agree Platoon is an awesome movie, I just saw it on t.v. the other night for the first time. I know I am a little behind times, the movie has been out for a while, just never had a chance to see it. I think I am gonna pick it up from Columbia House.

I just watched the movie Big last night on FX. It's one movie that no matter how many times I have seen it I can watch it again and again.
