BEauty and the Beast PE

Post by Yaya »

HI,
Im new to this site and I absolutely love it! I was wondering if anyone new were I could find the Platinum Edition of Beauty and the Beast for under 25 bucks. I know it's a long shot but it doesn't hurt to try. PLus ebay,half.com,& amaxon.com is kind of expensive.
THANKS! :D

Welcome to UD, Yaya!

A Beauty and the Beast PE for under $25 or even $35 is a miracle! :o
As you know, it's been Out of Print for a while now, and it's hard to find!

But you're right...it doesn't hurt to try, so maybe someone on the forums would have a copy to sell for that price. :)
Otherwise, you'd have to stick with EBAY, HALF, and AMAZON and search throught the auctions!

Good Luck with finding B&tB PE and Enjoy UD! :D

Hey Welcome To UD :eye:

Since the Beauty and the Beast PE is OOP your only source is the internet and I don't think you'll be able to find a copy on the net for under $25. I'm always seeing this Beauty and the Beast PE being sold for around 40-60 bucks.

But who knows? Maybe you'll get lucky :D

It can be found for cheap if you look around in used DVD stores alot. I bought one for $8 from a video store in my area not too long ago.

Welcome, Yaya!

Well I got mine when it came out but I would say that eBay is your best shot because you never know if an auction will go for as much as the item is worth. I got Snow White a couple of months ago on eBay for only $20.00 including shipping! Good luck and don't give up.

I know of one new copy in a store in my area; but it's the type of store that keeps track of when things are OOP (particularly with Disney & Criterion titles). The thing is $89.95 CDN (about $73 USD, at the moment). They even have a new Snow White PE, but that's $99.95. You should see how much they charge for OOP Criterion titles.

I am also looking for it and eBay prices are so high. I did not think to check the local store that sells used DVD's, what a great idea! I might just however get the 1 disc version of eBay sometime. This was put out in 2002, not many people even had DVD players then! I think they should re-release it now that "most" people own a DVD player.
