I have some news about the Great Mouse Detective sequel

Post by Teede »

I got an e-mail from a friend from Canada and it says:

"Hey Kylie, I already talked to them and they have writers doing a sequel. It is almost the same as your talking about. They said it will be out in Sept. 2005 in theaters. Anyway sorry I would have wrote a sequel but Disney has it sewed up. Anyway Kylie you take care ok. Jesse"

I just tell Jesse about the GMD sequel by calling DisneyToon Studios on the phone like I e-mailed Jesse. They're making a GMD sequel. Won't that be great guys?

Teede, Welcome to UD!

As for your "anyone would like to respond"...
not everyone responds to posts quickly. ;)

But you weren't clear..
What's GMD (maybe I'm just slow too...from all that studying)?

Anyways, take it easy! 8)
by the end of the day..you'll get responses. :p

Enjoy the forums! :eye:

I have no idea what movie you are referring to but what movie could be at the writing stage now and be in theatres in Sept 2005. They are going to write it, get the script approved, cast it, film it, edit it and do post production to release whatever it is in five months? I don't think you know much about the movie industry if you think that is possible.

Yes, it would help a lot if you actually made clear what you were talking about. A Great Mouse Detective sequel? Hmm. Fill us in.

I like all the Disney sequels. I admit they are nowhere near as good as the originals, but Id like to see what happens next. Maybe its just me though?

I totally agree with you they need some new idea's. I think we've all had enough of these "not so thought out" sequels.

Maybe if you tell us in clear terms who Jessie is and what exactly you're talking about we'd be excited (or as the case may more likely be, not excited) about this rumored new sequel which we're supposedly hearing about somewhat for the first time.

Hi Teede:

As most of the members already told you, take it easy. You needed to be more specific on your topic and give it time for people to respond; and not PM them.

Also, sometimes a post is not that popular or get any responses at all. That doesn't mean people at least didn't read them (that's why there's a feature alongside the quantity of replies that also tells how many times it was read). So you can rest asure that at least it was read. 8)

Well. Jesse's last name is Handley and she's a girl and she's 26 years old.

BTW. You can go e-mail her and ask her that it's true that it really is a GMD sequel. Her e-mail address is lostcaper2003@yahoo.com so go e-mail her now. Okay?

That's great.
But why should we listen to her? Saying she's a 26 year-old girl isn't really credible.

That doesn't really mean she's right.

How does she know about this GMD sequel?
