I went to Best Buy, today, and picked up:
Loony Tunes: Premiere Collection 2-Disc Set
Hellboy: 2-Disc Special Edition
I got them both for $20 (from the 2 for $20 special at Best Buy)
I also picked up a Pelican All-in-One Nylon padded case for my PSP. It's cool, because it holds the PSP, up to 8 games, earbuds, AC/DC Power adapter, cleaning cloth, and Memory Stick Duo's. Awesome!

Well, for one, the Gold Collection was not part of the special, and I can always trade in this collection for the Gold Collection, later. There are several stores around here that sell the Gold Collection, used.JiminyCrick91 wrote:THE PREMIERE COLLECTION ?!:o WHY NOT THE OH SO wonderful goldon sets?MadonnasManOne wrote:I went to Best Buy, today, and picked up:

Got some Cary Grant films:
- Mr Blandings Builds His Dream House (my fave CG film)
- Arsenic & Old Lace (because it was bundled cheap with the above)
- An Affair to Remember (more for my mum really)

Well, I just finished my last University class yesterday so after I finished I went out and rewarded myself with an unprecedented 6 DVDs bought at the same time. I Bought:
Star Trek V: The Final Frontier: Special Collector's Edition
Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country: Special Collector's Edition
Star Trek: Generations: Special Collector's Edition
Star Trek: First Contact: Special Collector's Edition
Top Gun: Special Collector's Edition
The Untouchables: Special Collector's Edition
All were upgrades of the terrible looking non-anamorphic releases I currently owned, and I was long overdue for an upgrade to my Star Treks (I had 1-4 in the 2disc sets and they didn't look quite right without the rest of the collection in the same style. Only 2 left, but I'm sure those'll be out before the end of the year) I'm hoping to get the 3 seasons of Star Trek: The Original Series soon, but at a hefty $319.00 it's a bit pricey

Bought Triple J's Hottest 100 Videos of 2004 last night.
For a change, this is a DVD compilation with decent bands, like Franz Ferdinand, Dresden Dolls, Interpol, Dallas Crane, Dogs Die in Hots Cars, The Hives, Kings of Leon and many many more on there.
Really good stuff...

Quatermass Collection, The - The Quatermass Experiment / Quatermass 2 / Quatermass And The Pit (Three Discs)
Wahooo! All three Quatermass serials from BBC Television in the 1950s! All have been lovingly restored and VIDfired by the Doctor Who Restoration Team and theres a number of short (but interesting) supplements, including a wonderful commemerative booklet (48 pages) which - gasp - is actually entertaining and informative.
The only downside is only the first two episodes of the original Quatermass Experiment exist now - the remaining 4 are included as scripts only.
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database
