Looks like my team (Illini - my alma mater) are against your team UNC tonight!

this thread really disappointed me. I was expecting this huge climatic battle and apparently its all about some sort of sporting event or something.

Yeah, I'm eating it right now. So, we lost........well, at least it was the last possible game ever to lose in a season...and Illini only lost 2 all season total. SO I am still proud of em.

Y'all played a good game, though.

To those not in the know, it's the NCAA championship, which is the national championship tournament for college basketball all across the US. Tonight was the final game, and UNC won!

It's MADNESS here. I've been up on Franklin Street all night, which was set on fire. My skin smells like smoke. I'm exhausted. The UD member awards will begin tomorrow instead.

It ain't called Carolina Cyan, that's for sure!

We need a more appealing light blue in the default color options here.

I found an aerial picture of Franklin Street (the fairly famous street that borders our campus) shortly after our national championship win. This is just one part of the street, actually. I'm one of those tiny little people in there!

Oh wow. For a second I thought snowhite8 returned to the forums.

Then I thought that maybe Aaron and snowhite8 were going out and had a big fight and she decided to bring it to the forums (a sort of "here's my story, here's his story, who's in the wrong UD?"). But that was before I clicked the link to see what it was about.

Then I saw the date and thought...oh wow, did it really work? Did I mentally send myself back to 2005?

Then I decided to just scroll to the bottom of the page and see what Aaron said.

And...wow...just...wow. All those people on one street and not a PAC castmember in sight.

Didja jump over any of the fires, Aaron?

And congrats to the Tar Heels.
