About TENG SE packaging

I'm going to buy thr Emperor's New Groove SE, but I don't know which edition, R2 or R1, since bonus features seem to be the same in both edition, my final choice will depend on the packaging.

Which one is nicer, R2 or R1? Does R2 packaging have any kind of special box?

There really isn't much difference. The R1 comes in a double alphapak (like the R1 Disney Treasures) while the R2UK comes in a flipflap Amaray keepcase, so the R1 is a bit thicker. The R1 also features a DTS-track, but apart from that, the two should be identical in every remaining aspect.

Well either are better than the 1 disc R2 edition with hardly any features. Im sure ichabod can give you a better answer on which is better.

well neither have a slipcover or any special packaging, just regular plastic dvd cases. Although on the cover of the UK edition the border and film title "The Emperor's New Groove" is shiny, not just printed on. The R1 may be the same but I don't know.

This is a little bit off-topic, but I have to ask you this now when we're talking about Emperor's New Groove. Are both of the versions widescreen or is it just the 2-disc version? If it is in US is it in Europe too? I'm now talking about the 1-disc edition, because I'm not sure if I should buy it if isn't widescreen.

Both the 1 disc and 2 disc editions in both US and UK are widescreen.
