WHAT METHOD DO THEY SHIP WITH?

Post by That1GuyPictures »

I was wondering...
I just joined the Disney Video Club,
and now I'm wondering...
what method of shipment do they use
when sending DVD's?
Is it Media Mail, 1st Class...
or do they use UPS or FedEx or something.
(I'm assuming it's USPS Media Mail...)

Whatever it is, it takes much, much longer than any other company/club/etailer.

You know, for some reason, that doesn't really surprise me,
since they're website is one of the worst "PROFESSIONAL" web sites I've ever encountered! :x :D

Amen to that. It's practically impractical. :P The whole club is really in poor shape, which is just slightly outweighed by the good deal it offers. Still, I think there's something to be said for customer service, especially when a club like Columbia House gives much better deals more frequently and with faster shipping, on-par customer service, and a much better website.

I was just wondering how long it took for you guys to get your DVD's after you signed up. I've only been waiting for a week, but I'm really impatient. They said about 3 weeks and that seems way too long unless they dont ship them out right away.
Also, does it always take forever to get them, or just the first time?

Usually with me it takes 1-2 weeks.
The last time I ordered it took 12 days.
It's about right for Media Mail.
