What's on your Disney wish list?
quick question...when you mean "fantasia.....quality is quite horrible"..are you speaking also about the Fantasia movies in the Anthology?Jeremy wrote:Fantasia -restored. I already have the recent version, but the picture quality is quite horrible. Same goes with The Black Cauldron.

Sword in the Stone
Dumbo
Not so much Pinnochio (but I still want it)
The Emporer's new Groove (I like David Spade he's a good guy)
The Incredibles (I should watch it before I buy it first)
I pretty much have the rest.

Song of the South
The World's Greatest Athlete -- This is one of the first Disney live-action movies that I saw in a theater. So glad that it's coming to DVD this summer!
Mystery in Dracula's Castle -- I saw this on "Wonderful World of Disney" when I was about 6, and the opening scene scared me to death! I watched it a couple of years ago on the Disney Channel when they still showed the old stuff.

"Don't shake if you don't mean it." Pacha in The Emperor's New Groove
I want a few, but the thing is that I still don't have any. I gave up Gnome-Mobile and Greyfriars Bobby to family-friends with kids.
I want a few, but the thing is also- I don't want to start buying these movies on DVD unless they look and sound BETTER than what I've come to understand is standard for the Gold Collection. I want every disney movie/show that I buy to look like a Masterpiece or Platinum DVD Edition. I don't think I'm asking much. I'm also really against Disney adding new scenes and songs! I want nothing more than the original film. The Disney DVD's I want are:
The Parent Trap (1961 Hailey Mills version, no more remakes!) - Vault Disney
Walt Disney Treasures: Silly Symphonies
Walt Disney Treasures: Donald Duck 1
Walt Disney Treasures: Pluto 1
Melody Time
Make Mine Music
The Black Cauldron
Fantasia (only the first movie, I don't like sequels no matter how big they are)
Sleeping Beauty: 2-disc Special Edition
Pocahontas: 2-disc 10th Anniversary Edition
Aladdin: Platinum Edition
The Little Mermaid: Platinum Edition
The Return of Jafar (but not King of Thieves)
Dumbo (1-disc or 2, it doesn't matter, but I want the best video & sound quality!)
Any Pinocchio special edition (but I want that THX! And I need the original trailer!)
A special edition of The Rescuers (with improved picture & sound quality, Disney!!!)
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh: 25th Anniversary Edition
Ellen: Complete Seasons 4 & 5 (those are the only 2 I would buy)
And the Parent Trap sequels - 2, 3, and Hawaiian Honeymoon.

One thing to wish for is definitely a more decent treatment of the older live action classics. Imagine glorious, fully restored widescreen releases with lots of extras for Blackbeard's Ghost and all the others!
Another wish would be for a SE of Song of the South and more documentary material from the Walt Disney Studios, Disneyland and the various TV-shows.
