But if you think about it, how much of the feeling goes away by changing or deleting a small part of the film? To be honest I don't think the movie get's damaged by it, but if it goes the way when they edit or delete whole scene's then I fully agree with you.

I hate censorship and I would probably do everything thing to get unedited Disney movies (okay, NOT everything, but I want the masterpiece in it's whole beauty), I think it's sad that they're doing it for things that don't really deserve it. Goofy smoking? C'mon, Pinocchio was smoking too then why not Goofy?

I really hope the eventual Fantasia PE will be "uncensored" since those PE's are mostly meant to be about the film for its hardcore fans and not so much for little kids (although I'm sure they watch them too!). :D

Apparently it's no longer a valid defence to say "But you're wrong!" It's easier just to concede in order to shut the accusers up.
It's even easier to just ignore them.

Problem: The Lion King and Aladdin DVDs were 'censored'. Ok the censorship really wasn't a big deal there, but if they did that to these films, then what makes you think they'll bring out an uncensored Fantasia?
But don't worry, I'm still crossing my fingers :)

Well, it's just that the censored parts of Fantasia and Melody Time etc... were intended to be in the orginal version. They were not supposedly put in under the noses of Disney. The Lion King is still as it was intended to be, even without the so called "sexual reference".

I don't know whether Disney will do this, I just really hope they do! :D
