Wow!!!
You are getting the Disney Treasures!!
And the two hard to get ones too!
I REALLY hope this is a sign Disney is going to release these in other regions (i.e. Uk & Australia). But I'm not holding my breath.
I wonder what will be the the "Favorites" package?
Good news for you guys.
I might even pick them up from the Netherlands if there is a good online e-tailer.
Thanks for the info, MDA!

Yeah, I was really happy to get this information. Disney mailed me about it, so I'm sure. Nothing is known about the Favorites package only the title.Loomis wrote:Wow!!!

We get the treasures so why would the UK not get them?

I didn't get them when they came out due to financial reasons (which I guess still exist

Cool! Be sure to let us know when these go up for preoder anywhere...Anders M Olsson wrote:I just heard that the first two Treasures sets are coming out in Sweden as well. So I guess it would be a safe bet that they will be coming out in other European countries (UK, Germany, France etc.) as well.
Very excited now.
Good cost-saver too!

Regarding Walt Disney Favorites, a DVD of Walt Disney's Christmas Favorites was solicitated in the UK two years ago (but as far as I can see was not released on DVD, only VHS). Of course last year we got Countdown to Christmas.
Could Walt Disney's Christmas Favorites be the release? Especially so close to Christmas:

Yeah, and Countdown to Christmas was a unique Christmas DVD in the sense that it had pretty much bugger all to do with Christmas (except for the slim winter connection, and 'The Small One').2099net wrote: Of course last year we got Countdown to Christmas[...]Could Walt Disney's Christmas Favorites be the release? So there are plenty of Xmas titles left unreleased, so a Xmas package (expecially so close to Xmas, a syou say) could be on the cards. This would be very groovy, as have a soft spot for all Xmas toons (even though I claim to hate Xmas).

MDA, I forgot to ask - do you know of any place that has these up for pre-order?
Or any place that is likely to?
If possible, are any of those websites multi-lingual? I'm a little rusty on everything outside of whatever the hell it is I use most of the time
I only have Silly Symphonies to get, but if I can get it cheaper from the Netherlands, even better.

Ok, I found a place called http://www.hedgehog.nl/
They have both Silly Symphonies and MMILC for € 24.35 each.
That translates roughly to:
US $26.61
AUS $41.57
GBP $16.84
Pretty damn good in any language for 2 OOP titles. Prices obviously don't inlcude postage, and are presumably R2 coded? In fact, I'm not even sure where they ship to because I can't read the rest of the site.
Just thought I'd post here...
