Hi,
I have never seen this wave without the Tin/ The only ones released
without Tins were from COSTCO for waves 1 and 2 and that was a
special release..

I think it should have the tin..

I went to Disneyland recently and purchased myself "On the Front Lines" and it came with the tin.

Though, probably another user will come on here with a sure answer. :D

Yes, there are still reams of copies of that one around. Apparently, even in this day and age people knew Childrens programmoing and War did not go together very well.

So were the Plastic Case sets sold in the U.S. alongside of the tins? I personally would pay less to get the content.. I don't really need the shiny tins.

If you are talking about the Costco set then those are gone. You have to look on ebay now. You do have to pay for shipping and tax with Best Buy if the Best Buy close to you does not have them in stock. They are still cheaper than all the other ones out there. I saved 4 dollars off overstock.com.

From the picture it looks like there is no tin but if none have been made with no tin then it should have one.

This picture is from AMAZON.com, the one from best buy doesn't look like this and it has a black outline (Were the cases black?)

That, my friend, is a picture of the tin with the paper wrap-around.

The DVD cases are, indeed, black.

I'm sort of confused by this. So you're saying that it didn't sell well because people realized children's programming and and war don't go well together? I see that but the "even in this day and age" wording is throwing me off.
