Hi I am really hoping someone can help me out!!
A FEW YEARS BACK I WAS HOLDING A DISNEY BOXSET I BELIEVE IT WAS CALLED, "DISNEY'S ULTIMATE SPECIAL EDITIONS". WELL ANYWAY I DIDN'T BUY IT LIKE A BONEHEAD, AND NOW CANT FIND ANYTHING ABOUT IT AT ALL ALMOST AS IF IT NEVER EXISTED. THE MOVIES I REMEMBER BEING IN THE SET WERE THE TOY STORY'S, EMP'S NEW GROOVE, TARZAN, BUGS LIFE, DINOSOUR, AND I THINK THE FANTASIA'S BUT I'M NOT TOO SURE. PLEASE IF ANYONE CAN FIND ANYTHING ON THIS SET GET BACK TO ME. THANX AGAIN.
Welcome to the forum MR. INCREDIBLE!
you certainly got my attention but you didn't need to put your title in all caps.
(or ALL CAPS in your post too!)
I've never heard of the DVD Box Set that you are talking about..
If you search around for UD.com, there's a list of Disney DVDs that have been released:
http://www.ultimatedisney.com/OOP.htm
The closest thing that I can think of for your set that you speak of is:
Walt Disney Animated Anthology: The Classic DVD Collector's Set (contains all 9 Limited Issue DVDs - Pinocchio, Peter Pan, Lady and the Tramp, 101 Dalmatians, The Jungle Book, The Little Mermaid, Hercules, Mulan, The Lion King II: Simba's Pride) (discontinued in early 2000)
or
Toy Story, A Bug's Life & Toy Story 2: Pixar 15th Anniversary 3-Pack (discontinued May 2003)
Hope someone else can help you.
And again, welcome to the forum!
Hope to see more posts from you!

First, hit this:

Now, the box set you're describing was never released widely, which is why you may have trouble finding information about it. Sounds like a set that likely would have been an exclusive for a retailer like Best Buy or Costco. And I vaguely remember such a set. But anyway, many of those titles are individually out of print and you won't find the box set anymore.

I think it was called Disney's Ultimate Collector's Edition Set or something like that but I can't find it anywhere.
I remember it was at Best Buy only and it contained Tarzan: CE, Atlantis: The Lost Empire: CE, The Emperor's New Groove: CE, Dinosaur: CE, Fantaisia Anthology, Toy Story Box Set and A Bug's Life.
But I'll try to find something out.
I know what you are talking about MR. INCREDIBLE but I can't find it anywhere either.Given how few copies of the special collector's edition of "The Emperor's New Groove" and "Dinosaur" had actually sold (which might explain why earlier this year Best Buy began offering a "Disney's Ultimate Collector's Edition DVDs" boxed set. Where that store created a special boxed set that bundled the special collector's edition of "Groove" and "Dinosaur" in with "The Ultimate Toy Box," "The Fantasia Anthology" and the collector's editions of "Tarzan" and "a bug's life" at a deep discount. All in an effort to finally get these very slow moving titles off the shelves), Disney didn't want to get stuck with a large pile of 2-disc special collector's editions of the "Lilo & Stitch" DVD that they'd have trouble moving. Which is why all talk of doing a deluxe collector's edition of this film were quietly tabled by mid-June.

I remember seeing something like this at Sam's Club, but it included Live Action Movies like 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Tron, and some other movies.MickeyMousePal wrote: I remember it was at Best Buy only and it contained Tarzan: CE, Atlantis: The Lost Empire: CE, The Emperor's New Groove: CE, Dinosaur: CE, Fantaisia Anthology, Toy Story Box Set and A Bug's Life.

Kram Nebuer I think that's a different set your talking about. The one your talking about is only Live Action films. It wasn't all live action. It had Emperor's New Groove, Dinosaur, Hunchback II and some other stuff. I think it came in a red box and was about $100+. Also, it seemed to be like reject Disney DVDs put together in a set.MickeyMousePal wrote:Kram Nebuer Wrote:

Pffft! You presumably typed out the title of this thread called, "Hi I am really hoping someone can help me out!!" Did you notice that you didn't use all caps when you typed it?MR. INCREDIBLE wrote:THANX FOR THE REPLY'S AND I CAN'T TURN IT OFF DO TO THE FACT THAT THE KB IS BUSTED SORRY.
If you're going to lie, at least be a consistent liar.

It was definitely in a LOUD TONE when originally posted.
