Brave Little Toaster at Suncoast

Post by Jack »

For those who want to get Brave Toaster ASAP, my local Suncoast already had them on the shelves for 22.99. You might try checking their stores to see if this is the case elsewhere.

Did you happen to look at the back and see what Special Features were listed? Disney's been enigmatic about this one DVD.

No, but I'm probably going to be back there within a week, so next time I'll look and post them here.

Thanks. Pretty sure that it's Fullscreen, and that there ARE bonus features, but that's all I know.

Kinda. It played on a few theater screens in festivals and such, but it didn't really become known until it made its debut on the Disney Channel. So, I'm not sure what ratio it was created in. Maybe it was animated for 4x3 and matted for theatrical release? Or maybe the DVD is cropped.

the disney website has only the 2 sequels listed. huh :?

they have special features of storyboard to film comparisons and are both in fullscreen formats (though i suspect that's not far off from it's original ratio).

i wonder why they took off the original?

also, they have listed a dvd of Madeline: lost in paris for those die hard madeline fans. this may mean that they are releasing it on dvd soon.

The two sequels are DEFINITELY made for fullscreen - they were direct-to-video all the way.
