Is there a way you can get the toys without buying the Happy Meal? I don't really like McDonald's but I love Pixar!

Can you buy the toys just separate? Hope so...

I think you'd pay $1.00 for the toy as long as you order a meal or something from McDonald's.

Dig into your childhood, get the Happy Meal! ;) I'm just kidding..those "small" fries are just appetizer for me.

But yea, I hope someone can clarify that answer I gave you.
It worked for me LOOONG time ago when I only wanted to buy Nemo. :p

I'ts just great to see the youth of today practicing good solid (well, lady speed stick) body hygene..

Just had a thought.. He must have been a pain to change a diaper on when he was a toddler.. Heck.. all the kids.. Dash running around all kinds of nekkid.. Jack-Jack setting his diaper on fire all the time.. Violet putting up the force field and turning invisible..

Now I understand why Bob had his den.. he needed to get away!

Here it is $1.80 without food. I'm a vegetarian and never liked McDonald's much anyway. Still, has never stopped me from collecting the toys! :thumb:

I got a response....sort of....from McDonald's about no Bug's Life toys....

Hello Melanie:

Thank you for contacting McDonald's to share your comments about our recent Happy Meal toys. I'm sorry you were disappointed.

You may be interested to know that our Marketing staff reviews several different criteria when designing toys -- playability, durability, safety, quality and popularity with children just to name a few. The latter is always a challenge given the number of Happy Meal toys we offer every year. We often offer toys from kids' favorite television shows, retail toy lines and movie or television characters.

Please know that we would never intentionally upset our customers. Your comments are important and have been shared with our Marketing staff for their review. They've assured me they will consider your feedback when planning future Happy Meal offers.

Once again, thank you for letting us know how you feel. We hope you'll enjoy our future Happy Meal promotions.

I used to be so big on the toys myself, but I'm running out of room; as it is, I have a bix box full of PVC figures, mostly from the great Disney era of the early nineties.

I've been a vegetarian in the past and have been seriously thinking about "converting back" lately. It's hard though. Not only because almost every meal is centered around meat, but that everyone around gives you such a hard time about it. At least, that's the way it was in my case.

I happen to like McDonald's food, but I try to stay away from it as much as possible. And besides, McDonald's is evil! Evil, I tell you, evil!!!! And I know of at least two people that would be content to eat it every day for the rest of their lives. . . sigh.

Have you tried their veggie sandwhich that they have now. They dropped their veggie burger for it here in Canada.
I haven't had that sandwich or the New York rueban one yet but they are pretty tasty.

Wow that is fast! I thought you wouldn't see them until after they were all available at McD's. Might have to order me a set.

Yeah, I was a bit surprised to find so many.. I bidded on a set, figured it would be easier than going every now and then to see what they have and so forth.. one guy had the complete set in the display case with the promotion poster... wanted 20 bucks shipping..

I just got Nemo! I would have rather had Mr. Incredible or Woody but Nemo is okay! It costs $1.79, though, at least here. And that's after I bought a drink. I guess I'll have to go every once-in-awile and see what they currently have.

Yup it's actually called: Grilled Veggie Melt

Grilled and marinated zucchini, red and green peppers, melted provolone cheese, tomatoes and shredded lettuce served on a toasted whole wheat or French roll topped with roasted red pepper spread.

On their website it says it may come in contact with meat though during preparation. :P

Here's Canada's toasted deli sandwiches:

Sort of surprised the US doesn't have 'em.

Luke wrote:Wow, hadn't heard about these. I quite like the ones they had for The Incredibles last fall, which I currently have on display. Sure they're not the highest quality. But they're cool! (And not just Frozone.)

Anyway, the Mickey D's site has a Flash movie showing all the "Pixar Pals" figures:
http://www.mcdonalds.com/usa/ronald/happy.html

And this screencap shows the whole gang:
