McDonald's Pixar Toys...

Post by rogue588 »

Just saw a commerical for this tonight.

I'm probably going to head down tomorrow to check it out, but does anyone have any specifics on 'em?

Or perhaps there are people posting here that work at MickyD's and can hook us up cheap? ;)

My sister works at McDonald's so I asked her if she could get some for me. She replied, "Don't be retarded." Hmmm.... lovely... this is why I can't wait to move out.

I woudln't mind getting them and putting them with my Disney DVDs since I can't afford any really nice looking statuettes.

Wow, hadn't heard about these. I quite like the ones they had for The Incredibles last fall, which I currently have on display. Sure they're not the highest quality. But they're cool! (And not just Frozone.)

Anyway, the Mickey D's site has a Flash movie showing all the "Pixar Pals" figures:
http://www.mcdonalds.com/usa/ronald/happy.html

And this screencap shows the whole gang:

And yes, I'm disappointed there's no Flik and Atta or Hopper.

Why is A Bugs Life getting the shaft. I really like that movie. Even though I don't eat at McDonalds anymore it is still kind of disapointing.

You mean like because it's the least popular of the Pixar movies?

Personally, I don't know what everyone has against it. I like it just as much as Toy Story and Monsters Inc.

I saw that they were for kids over three - for those that have these, do they have small parts?

I was thinking the same thing!

Dash does run a lot.. and being a young lad, his skin is still delicate, so lady speed stick is his choice for freshness and durability!

Kid must go through a lot of it!

All the regular McDonald's toys are for kids over three. It's probably just to be safe in case an arm or something falls off!

My son has those 2 Incredibles already. They are bigger than the first ones they did. Pretty nice.
