David, from Lilo & Stitch for Top 25 Disney Heroes! :D
David's cool..but not a main character therefore not "cool" enough to be on the front cover.
I mean, how can he beat out Nani, Jamba, and Pleakley? :?

Enlighten me, how's David a hero? ;)
David sticks it out for the people he loves. He's a modern-day hero. He's a great blue-collar role model. He doesn't have to stick around for Nani, but he does. Enough said.

well, that was a good explanation Prince Eric! :)
but i'm still going to have that opinion of him on the front cover! ;)
you know..the one where he shouldn't be there!

Actually I am quite happy with the regular dvd version of Lilo and Stitch. I just bought my copy last September. I got a pretty good deal on it too. Although I am looking forward to Lilo and Stitch 2: Stitch Has a Glitch.

Lilo and Stitch will be 2 Disc Special Edition.
Actually, until announced otherwise it should be considered a Masterpiece Edition. This is due to the fact that it's only been announced as a Masterpiece so far. This is, of course, provided they don't do something stupid like make it the 3rd anniversary edition :P

My Alice DVD looks awfully lonely up there, I hope they keep the name going, even if it's only a couple of movies that make it on there.

However, the name really isn't what's important is it? It's the content, and whether it's under the Masterpiece banner or the oh so boring Special Edition name it's still going to be a great disc thanks to the extras and video/audio quality
Cheers!

No, not yet. Despite being a huge fan of the little blue guy, I haven't tried that yet. The only thing that tempted me was the inclusion of the TV episodes. However, I am willing to hold back for the inevitable season set/collection of those episodes. Looks fun though.

Wow, that's an old link, Loomis! It's not too bad-looking either. Ah, memories.

I came across the second page of 'Lilo & Stitch's Island Adventure' with the disc art. I forget how I came across it but I never noticed it was from this site at first. I guess I wasn't paying too much attention to the domain name.

I then came across the interesting: http://www.ultimatedisney.com/tvondvd.html

Disney sure hasn't done too much since then.

Well of the 8 TV shows featured in the title graphic, 5 have been released or will be released in season (or volume) box sets. It's definitely progress, even if it's mostly been made among live action Touchstone Television series.

I kind of have mixed feelings about lilo and stitch special edition and lilo and stitch 2.

When lilo and stitch came out on dvd, I preordered it at disney store. I asked them if it was going to be a two disc, they assured me it would be. When I picked it up, I they even said that it was going to be two discs in there. I called them when I got home, and they said that everyone had told them it would be two discs, so this was all it was going to be. So, anyway, I bought it. So if now a two-disc comes out, well, I kind of feel burned by that.

Also, I don't really get why lilo and stitch 2 is #2. I have the stitch movie, or whatever it is called, at home. Shouldn't this be #3?

Hard to get excited about it, whatever number it is.

Lilo and Stitch 2 is going to be the proper sequel to Lilo and Stitch. Stitch: The Movie was actually just the pilot episode for the Lilo and Stitch TV series
