BURBANK, Calif., August 18, 2003 – Three of the best-loved family film classics come to Disney DVD for the first time ever as ESCAPE TO WITCH MOUNTAIN, RETURN FROM WITCH MOUNTAIN and THE APPLE DUMPLING GANG make their DVD debuts from Walt Disney Home Entertainment. Each film has been lovingly restored, with 5.1 Dolby® Digital Surround Sound for the finest viewing experience in the pristine DVD format.
These must-have movies are accompanied by a bonanza of bonus features for hours of enjoyment. Included are audio commentaries with actors and filmmakers, Lost Treasure behind-the-scenes featurettes, classic animated Disney shorts, Disney Studio Albums and more (see attached for details).

ESCAPE TO WITCH MOUNTAIN
13 year old Tony Malone (Iake Eisenmann, “Tom & Huck”) and his 11-year old sister Tia (Kim Richards), orphaned by the loss of their foster parents, live in a children’s home. Their incredible psychic powers attract rich and powerful Aristotle Bolt (film legend Ray Milland), who adopts them in order to exploit them. Running away, the children are pursued by their captors and the police. They discover that they are actually castaways from another planet, who must find the safe haven of Witch Mountain.

In this exciting sequel to “Escape To Witch Mountain,” automobiles mysteriously fly and humans float in thin air as sinister masterminds Christopher Lee (“Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers,” “Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones”) and screen legend Bette Davis unleash a diabolical plan. The entire city of Los Angeles teeters on the brink of nuclear disaster when the greedy criminals manipulate Tony’s (Iake Eisenmann) supernatural powers for their own devious gain. But the youth’s sister Tia (Kim Richards) and a streetwise band of truants join forces in a desperate attempt to save the city from destruction.

Oh well, they do look like they'll be crammed at any rate. I still want 2 disc though!MPeriolat wrote:Gee, like Disney needed to do anything to sell me on these. Even if they're not two disc sets, they're so crammed with goodies that I can get a lot of mileage out them.
Shame the WS version of Absent Minded Professor isn't going to be as loaded, but ah well.
