DVD Cover Art & Disc Art?

Post by Lightyear »

Hey folks.

I was wondering if someone who has a legit copy of The Little Mermaid could take a pic of the Disc and post it up.

Also was wondering, does anyone know of a site or here that has the cover art and disc art for display.. would make ebaying a lot easier.

DVDEmpire has these scans of the front and back covers, if that's what you're looking for:

I don't know where to find disc art, though.

You know? There's still a little phallic imagery on this art. Look where Ursula's left hand is on the back cover. They need to cut it out!

...I would suggest waiting till 2006 for the 2-Disc since it'll probably cheaper than what the 1-Disc sells on EBAY...but I think you can't wait that long. :P

I rather wait too since E-bay might sell me a bootleg (copy) of The Little Mermaid. :D

ok folks.. I felt this was a bootleg because of the center not being printed on.. Is this an accurate assumption?

Woah, it looks exactly the same as mine except the center not being printed on, as you pointed out. That's more than enough to arouse my suspicions. Oh, and the weird black outline that you see on the bottom of the scan doesn't appear on my disc, either.

[EDIT]

Oh wait, now that I'm really looking at it, the positioning of Flounder should be closer to the inside edge than it is. It looks like the image on the disc you've posted is zoomed in on a bit and Flounder's been repositioned.

Sorry I can't offer a scan so you can compare it yourself.

So yeah, I'd be wary of that one.
