Probably not even that long. I imagine we'll see the cover art when it's about to fall out of the Top 10 at the box office, as was done with Nemo. So, within the next few weeks, most likely.

I'm actually surprised we haven't seen it yet.
We'd seen FN art by this time in its theatrical lifespan and PotC was no slouch at the Box Office either.

Oh well ... it's a no-brainer purchase for me regardless. Even if the cover featured a picture of Loomis himself :o :(

Well, wasn't that the fake art circulating? Nemo was playing for a couple of months before the real announcement came in, so that puts the Pirates announcement at...hmm, maybe next Monday?

Ha! What's that supposed to mean?
Mind you, I don't think I'd buy something with my face on it... :D

It is going great guns at the box office, and it hasn't been released theatrically here (or a few other places too I'm sure), so maybe they are holding off on 'official' announcements until it is screened more widely (boost b.o. receipts).

Mind you, I have Nemo on order, and that doesn't come out until tomorrow here.

And being set in Sydney, it MAY have my face in it :P

Off-Topic Alert
Loomis, be sure to post your "review" of FN once you've had a chance to see it. I'd be interested to read an Aussie's opinions on this very Australian Pixar film.

December 2nd is what I've heard. All that's known is it'll be released on December 2nd as a two-disc set, which makes it Disney's first two-disc live action new release, I believe.

Although it doesn't sound very jam-packed for a 2-disc, it sounds like a good DVD all the same. Bring it on. :D

Well for an action movie it certainly seems to have its share of comical moments, and if a movie as serious as Daredevil gets a blooper reel, why shouldn't PotC? Besides, you don't have to watch it. :P
