Hi,
Wonder if anyone could help me out here. I have 5 old classics videos, and they have a white video case and the spine on the covers are yellow. There is no date at the back of the video or at the end of the film, although someone has told me that its highly possible that they might be the 1st edition videos that came out approx 1983/4/5 or something like that. Does anyone know where I can find this information for definate? As I would like to know how old these films are. They are VHS video's NOT betamax, and they still play very good.
They are definately not 90's videos, as all the other classics videos I have were bought in the 90's, but these other 5 were given to me. Id be quite happy to email pics of the covers if anyone can help.
Many thanks

Are you from the UK? If so, these are videos that probably came out in England in the late eighties such as this Mary Poppins video (you can just see a splash of yellow from around the edge). I don't know all the classic Disney films featured in this style of cover art, but I hear that along with Mary Poppins, Sleeping Beauty, Alice in Wonderland, Dumbo, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, Pete's Dragon, Tron, The Sword in the Stone and Robin Hood all had a similar style.
Hi, yes, am from UK. I noticed that people put these video's down as RARE, which made me think when they came out. I know they arent worth anything, I wasnt looking along those lines. The Dumbo one I have has 3 cartoons at the end of the movie, whereas the Dumbo video I bought in the 90's doesnt have these cartoons.
