Yeah, getting way off topic (but this is about me so I think everyonewill be ok with it...god I'm vain....).
Have already ordered the DVD, but have also agreed to see it with at least 3 people.
So Disney/Pixar will be getting their money's worth out of me :D
Especially when I order that Davy Crockett set too!

Well Friend Loomis you have to look forward.........

Door #1

You get Davy Crockett - King of the Wild Frontier Mini Litho that resembles the Theater Poster!

Door #2

All 5 original episodes aired on ABC! with intro by Leonard Maltin! Both disc come with davy crockett themed discs!

Door #3

You and a guest will have a conversation with none other than Fess Parker in his Vineyard in California! and How about going back in time to the Davy Crockett Craze? The craze that sweeped the nation by storm!
and if this wasn't enough you get to visit the Disney Vaults and see thru the galleries!

if all this wasn't enough! You get all this cool things in a Numbered limited edition Tin can! You can get all this! IF the price is right!

You know, MMB and Loomis need a thread to themselves where they can pitch witty and sarcastic comments back and forth to one another. :P

Ultimately, MMB and I will domnate every thread with the "wit" that is our conversations, followed by the board, the net, the world....bwahahahaha!

Erm...

Thanks for the info MMB (presented in Price is Right style and all! I'll take Door #2). I don't regret purchasing it. I now have all the tins on order (god help me!) except Symphonies . Davy I managed to get for a mere $25...so I guess the price was right...since I saw it going on eBay for between $35 & $70!!!!

Anyways...

Goofy - $40 (which was pretty goodI thought)

MMILC - ahem. Well, let us just say less than a fortune, but more than a penny.

A boy has to have some secrets right?
It wasn't toooo expensive (I'll say this much - it was NOWHERE near the $125 I saw it go for!), all things considered. Less than I was willing to spend, but more than it should be...

Re-release them Disney!!

$40 for Goofy is pretty good and about average for what I'm seeing.
I would guess you probably paid between $90-$100 for MMiLC...that'll teach you to wait

I actually paid a bit less than that, actually.

It worked out better for me in fact, because I was able to pace out the purchases a bit better, rather than getting them all in one hit.

And it works out good for anyone buying them now: you'll make a fortune off suckers like me

Man!!! Goofy was one I didn't get right away, because I don't care for the style of a lot of his cartoons, but I refuse to pay $40, that would make it my most expensive set today, and, for me atleast, it is definately not worth that!! Now if I didn't already have the 2 mickey tins, I might be willing to shell out the non-existant cash in my wallet for those.... Well all I can say, is that disney better rerelease it for a lower SRP, the tin is not a neccessity, only for the ones I prize the most...

and does anyone else think MMBW should be coming out this year, I mean Mickey is only going to have one 75th Birthday, and then they could have a nice gift package with ALL the Mickey tins, ie the entire Mickey Mouse Collection... Just a thought.... Let the normal chatroom chat or whatever continue, maybe I will check out the chatroom to see if anyone is in there...
