How do you think they'll do at the Box Office? You think they'll be very good animation? I hope so...

Sequels to ALL Pixar films?
So, there is going to be a sequel to every Disney/Pixar film? A Finding Nemo 2? Monsters, Inc. 2? Bug's Life 2? Toy Story 3? Even Cars and the Incredibles?
How do you think they'll do at the Box Office? You think they'll be very good animation? I hope so...

Yes alas,
Disney has no mercy to steal the characters from their creators for more bucks in the pocket.
Sad sad sad...
I highly doubt the quality will be any good... moreover those project IS seen from a VERY bad eye in the Hollywood industry, showing the lack of imaginative and creativity at Disney. they had to take a director from ToonStudios to make Toy stroy 3 as no one in the respectable industry wanted to do it.
Disney keeps on disapoint......

Pixar was involved though, Pixar will not be working on these sequelsDan05 wrote:I've never heard of this, but i'm not sure because Disney sequels usually suck but hey maybe with Pixar it's different since Toy Story 2 was one of the best sequels i've ever seen (I usually don't enjoy sequels) There has been some I've liked though
WHAT!!?¿singerguy04 wrote: Pixar was involved though, Pixar will not be working on these sequels
That sucks, they shouldn't even make sequels to those movies they'll just ruin the great movies Pixar made
What a stupid idea, I hope this isn't carried out, and if it is I hope it's a complete failure to Disney
What a Joke

No kidding what a stupid decision, what exactly is Disney thinking anywayKinOO wrote:yes, the fact that Disney built an entire studio in the only purpose to make crappy movie follow up to PIXAR movies WITHOUT PIXAR is pretty pathetic already....
I'm very dissapointed in this decision and I hope something goes wrong in the process of making these sequels
Without pixar this just won't work
Yes, you can...it's your favorite Pixar characters, but not your favorite Pixar creators...yay!!!!!!!!!!!! i can't wait to see my favorite pixar caracters on the big screen again
As far as I know, TS3 and 4, A Bug's Life 2, and Monster's, Inc. 2 have all been announced (either officially or unofficially), and I'm sure the others will come, too. By the sounds of things, only TS3 and maybe 4 will be in theaters, the others will all be those lovable DTVs...
You know..since the TS3 & 4 movies are supposedly coming out, it makes the ULTIMATE TOY BOX worthless!
*looks at my ultimate toy box...
*
It'd be okay for more PIXAR films!
I liked all of them..but a sequel without Pixar when the original was with pixar? c'mon!
someone's gonna have to smack those Disney idea thinkers!
It'd be okay for more PIXAR films!

I wouldn't doubt that they all become DTV movies. In addition to that, are we sure that they are even CG? disney could go for a "Buzz Lightyear: Commander of Starcommand blah blah blah" like they did not too long ago feel. Ugh, this whole thing makes me sick. It's like building a water park on the ancient pyramids in egypt just to make some extra cash. It's just not right!!!

I'm pretty sure they will try the CG route first since they are building a unit that will focus on making Pixar sequels.singerguy04 wrote:I wouldn't doubt that they all become DTV movies. DTV is short for Direct to video. And CG is uhhhhhhhhhhhh........... Something about Computer Graphics.Disney Lover wrote:First off, I'm not quite sure why the sudden need to make sequels. The originals were good enough. Why do they need to mess with a good thing? Just doesn't make any sense.
Also, is DTV "direct to video'? And what is CG? Sorry for the questions but I wasn't sure. Thanks!

Yup CG means computer graphics.
They make the sequels because they make money and some people will still watch them. I know people out there who don't care if it is Pixar or Disney that makes them.
I wouldn't mind seeing Toy Story 3 and The Incredibles 2 but I have little confidence in Disney going alone.
