What new Disneyland DVD ??... Did I miss something ?Luke wrote:Vintage Mickey has a running time of 90 minutes. I'd suspect that the new Disneyland DVD and that are tying into the 50th anniversary celebrations somehow, but I have no idea what will be on either.

actually, a riot could be started over this. Why those 3 and not Keri Russel and J.C. Chasez or Ryan Gosling too? Not that i have a particular interest in the latter few, but why they gotta hate? LOL, i think i just have something against those pop tartssingerguy04 wrote:i agree!PrincessJen wrote:erm...the best of Britney, Justin and Christina? I don't think that it's hate towards them. Why would they? Perhaps they'll make a second DVD with the best of other mousketeers, or perhaps they chose those three because they are, I've gotta admit, more popular than the others.PrincessJen wrote:actually, a riot could be started over this. It looks like Cinderella is the only one that interests me. I might pick up Lilo and Sitch 2 also.
Maybe they'll end up selling them like the Aladdin sequels. But I completely agree. It will look so stupid on my shelf, Halloweentown I & II on one DVD and then Halloweentown III on another. Why dont they just sell them in a trilogy box?SofaKing381222 wrote:I am really P.O'd that Disney decided to put Halloweentwon I and II on the same DVD! They each deserve their own release!!!! This is making me soooo mad!!! I like keeping my collection in order and not having DVDs forced to be pushed together on one DVD! Making me SOOOO MAD!!!

Pretty exciting info... the best of which is Halloweentown! Isn't it possible that the "double feature" still has them each on separate discs but packaged together like with the Aladdin sequels? That's what I took it to mean, and I hope that I'm right. Either way, I'm still happy to have them on DVD.
I'm also definitely getting the Britney/Justin/Christina release. I LOVED the 90s revival of MMC and watched it religiously. I hope this is only the first of many DVDs of this show to come (I want all of Emerald Cove!).
The Disneyland DVD also sounds interesting. As long as it provides something *other* than what is already on the Disneyland Treasure set, then I'll get it. I sort of suspect that Disney is using the new Classic Cartoon Favorites and then these new releases to offer more casual, scale down versions of the Treasures line. The same goes for Vintage Mickey and the Original MMC. If they're different from the Treasures, I'll get them- but I doubt they will be (and don't really see how Vintage Mickey could have anything new on it). Still, it's cool that they are being released for the general public.

You're paying half of what you would have had they been released separately. I know we all value packaging and all, but wouldn't you rather save $15? You can always do separate keepcases yourself if you don't like it.SofaKing381222 wrote:I am really P.O'd that Disney decided to put Halloweentwon I and II on the same DVD! I know! But Id personally would rather spend the extra $15. But I wouldnt mind if they were like the Aladdin I and II Collection. As long as they are on seperate disc, Ill be happy, but I would prefer them in seperate keepcase. But as Luke stated, I can always fix it myself. The though never occured to me. I was always thinking that this meant two movies on one disc in one keepcase, but it does seem logical that they would package it like Aladdin!!Luke wrote:You're paying half of what you would have had they been released separately. I am also really looking forward to Lilo & Stitch 2. So far Ive like all of the cheapquels, and LS2 doesnt look that bad. And OF COURSE Im gonna buy Cinderella. 2005 would'nt be the same without her!
