Mickey Mouse in Living Color 2 question

I plan to buy both the Mickey Mouse and Donald duck dvd in december, but my question is concerning MM@. I noticed that the old mickey(dotted eyes)is on the cover of both discs. I missed out on buying the first Mickey Mouse dvd (black and white and the first in living color one). We all know their OOP and expensive. So is there any old cartoons on this set as well? I hope so as the date says 1939-today. Can anyone verify this for me? Thanks.

I just hope someone in the know could possible answer my question. I have no old mickey mouse cartoons on Dvd..and it saddens me.

Mickey had dotted eyes until he was redesigned for Fantasia (released 1940).

His first short with the 'white eyes' was The Pointer in 1939 (released before Fantasia but work started after production of Fantasia had begun). The dotted eyes on the discs have confused me as well, as surely the only cartoon to feature them will be 1939's Society Dog Show?

However the MMILC vol 2 set contains a wide range of older cartoon shorts, including classics such as Mickey and the Seal and Pluto's Christmas Tree.

I hope they release other classic mickey shorts in the future (dotted eyes mickey) I really didnt know about these treasures being limited until after they sold out. Now I plan to preorder the ones I want this december in late September from Amazon. (donald duck and mickey 2).
