MMB - that is quite possibly more exciting than any of the other news I've heard so far :P
And that includes Lion King, the treasures, god knows how much Pooh AND Stitch related stuff....

Outstanding news.

Thanks, G.

Ooh, can't wait for more details.
That truly is on the top of my wish list.
Something else to look forward to (if I'm not unemployed and homesless by next year...).

So far it seems that Mary Poppins, Freaky Friday, and now Darby O' Gill will get Vault Disney-ish SE treatment next year. I wish Treasure Island would be re-released as a SE. :(

Brink!

The show was called "I Captured the King of the Leprechauns". It had Walt going to Ireland, to talk the King of the Leprechauns into appearing in his movie "Darby O'Gill" (a kind of sudo-making-of). It was a a fun show to watch.

Ok, I guess I am an optimist at heart (but I dress my shop-window with the trimmings of hardcore cynicism).

I actually saw clips from that Disney Tv special a few days ago, and I was hoping to see it in full one day. And now it looks like 'Yay' time.

It would be really cool if those TV specials were all released in sets one day...

NB: This is my post #666. Just wanted to make a note of it before that number disappeared for the ages

MMB
do you think these will get the 2-disc treatments or has disney completely cut their catalog releases to one-disc special editions? i hope these all get 2-disc sets, but with this latest release of the special editions, i'm not so sure they will. they should also release the original That Darn Cat! in a special edition with these other ones (well, that or Shaggy Dog).

hehe Loomis! an to Disneyfella, Yes! I do think they will be 2 discs since Disney has gotten the hint that 2 disc sets sell! plus older stuff always gets 2 disc. More modern stuff like the two witch mountains are more newer. about apple dumpling gang I don't think they would have much to put on it since it was filmed in the backlot of the studios plus other places. but never know we havent gotten any "Official" press release on these, Hopefully soon! :)

I have no idea for extras... but I like your list of new Vault Disney/Special Edition movies.

Is this a Disneyland episode that was shown on ABC, or is this before that?
