I agree with you the series are terrible, i hate it when they make a movie into a series the movies are meant to be moviesPatrickvD wrote:I find Lilo and Stitch: The Series to be quit an insult to the original movie... but that is just me

tv shows
Kim Possible is ok,
I hate Phil Of The Future (even if Ricky is kinda cute)
Lizzie McGuire rocks.
Raven stinks.
Love Lilo & Stitch.
Even Stevens is ok
Brandy and Mr Whiskers stinks, so does Dave The Barbarian
Recess is ok, but gets boring fast
American Dragon is boring and just annoying to me.

I didn't expect too many people to get into Dave the Barberian as it isn't the typical Disney fare, but I was really surprised by the number of people that can't stand Kim Possible!
I think Dave is a riot, and the stylized animation suits the feeling of the show. It's kind of in the tradition of Rocky and Bullwinkle, don't you think?
As for Kim Possible, I think it's the best TV cartoon I've seen in years, period. And it took me a whole year to even give it a chance, since I was so convinced that I would hate it!
See, I watched the very first episode and decided right then and there that it was totally contrived. The designs were too flat and the main character was too annoying. And worst of all were the name puns they kept using over and over in the promos, I was ready to gag! Anyway, I knew from the start that she and Ron were meant to be together, but they had her all nervous about asking another character out on a date? Grr. Of course, it's only fair to mention I was in my Daria mode back then, and I didn't like the ending at all. I didn't think she deserved that date with Josh, even if Bonnie deserved it less.
Anyway, I eventually started watching it again (ironically, this was after I no longer had Disney Channel, LOL!) and it started to warm up to me a little. Hmm. There were some great lines there. I found that the stories and situations were clever and well written, not to mention funny. And I got to know the characters. I don't find Kim annoying anymore. Well, ok, maybe a little, but it's all good.
That's part of what I find appealing about the show now. And I simply love Ron. I never knew I could love a dorky male character so much! I delight in the "evil-ness" of Bonnie. I love Dr. Drakken and Shego and their crazy relationship. I also find Kim's dad quite hilarious!
One of the best parts about the show is the BGM. I've never heard anything like it in a TV toon. And I love how the show never takes itself too seriously. In many ways it spoofs the happy, campy quality of family shows like Brady Bunch (compare the dads for example) and the old live-action Batman series (the episode with Adam West guest starring is hilarious)! And something you don't see very often in an animated series is character development, and this show actually has some.
So how many of you haters have actually watched more than one episode? If you haven't, give it a chance. You just might be pleasantly surprised.
But to each his own, right?
I've been praying for box sets of this show; why hasn't it happened yet? They have 'em for Lizzie, why not Kim? Sigh.
Oh, and as for the other shows mentioned, well, let's just say that I wouldn't be rushing out for a DVD release.

I can't stand the Disney Channel. They use to show some great series and movies. My favorite Disney Channel show was Ocean Girl. I LOVE that show. But Raven, Lizzie McGuire, Phil of the Future, Brandy and Mr. Whiskers, Teacher's Pet (obviously trying to jump the the NickToons bandwagon), I hate them all.
Lilo and Stich is all right for a while.
And Kim Possible has it's moments
But I could do without both just fine.
I wouldn't shed any tears if all their shows were cancelled.

I like: Brandy and Mr. Whistkers(even though I'm the only one, I think it's fun).
Even Stevens(very over-the-top fun, recomended)
Phil of the Future(okay)
Dave the Barbarian(again okay)
I hate: Lizzie Mcguire(boring)
That's So Raven(totally dumb)
Lilo and Stitch the Series(WHAT AN INSULT!)
Kim Possible(some kid who saves the world, how original!)
American Dragon:Jake Long:(BAD!!!)
Proud Family (UGH!!!)
Haven't seen: Zach and Cody
Shows that aren't Disney Channel originals: Recess(old, but awesome!)
House of Mouse(fabulous!)
Sister, Sister(lame)
Overall I miss the old Disney Channel that showed shows like Ducktales and Tale Spin. Overall Toon Disney is better with shows like The Timon and Pumba show! YAY!!!

i wouldn't care if "the proud family", "Brandy and Mr. Whiskers", and "Dave the Barbarian" were to dissapear of the face of the earth.
I would love for some of the shows that Disney had when i was younger were on again! Shows like "Adventures in Wonderland", "Under the Umbrella Tree", and "Dumbo's Flying Circus"! i loved those shows.
I think that the rest of the shows on now-a-days are ok or pretty good. I wish so weird would come back!

I also like Brandy and Mr. Whiskers. There is no denying though most shows on Disney are very bad. ANd by the way I have seen one episode of Zach and Cody. I can define it in one word MEH!Timon/Pumba fan wrote:I like: Brandy and Mr. Whistkers(even though I'm the only one, I think it's fun).

I wish I had Toondisney though. I miss those Garfield and friends shows I used to watch on Nick a while back.
