Who can't wait til summer??

Post by HalRoachFan »

It's March, so it's getting closer to summer! I can't wait for the weather to start getting warm again. It's when outside is more full of life with leaves on trees and all these animals hopping around in my yard when it just makes me feel happy, and of course, we all have more fun in the summer!

I have some cleaning and organizing to do around here that I'll get to when it starts to warm up.

Usually by the middle of February I'm sick of the snow but I'm still kind of enjoying it. Slowly I'm getting in the mood for spring though so I can check out some spring garage sales again and then we can have lots of rain. I love rain...

As for summer... meh... it can get too hot. I like all of the seasons but it just felt like the summer to me. Fall went by too fast as well. :P

Surfboarding in Canada sounds like fun. :) I wish I could visit Canada.

I'm tired of the cold weather and snow too.

I'm from California, but I was born & raised an island girl. SO I'm SICK OF HOT WEATHER (and of people showing too much skin) *cringes*! but I don't like the cooooold weather either! ;)

I like Spring for its RAIN...and sales! :D
I like FALL the most though for it's cold but not too cold weather. :)
summer is good for its SUMMER VACATION!, beaches & sunsets, and turning up the A/C in the car/room!

Spring cleaning...man...i have to go clean now...

Oh boy I was set to do a major sping cleaning this year but now it's turning into a move. I'm going to be moving April 1st and I should start packing soon I'm told. I've been in this house since I was one and a half so it's going to be hard.

Anyways this is a topic about summer not about moving although for the last week I have wanted to start a thread about moving. Soon, soon. :)

Here are the reasons why I can't wait for summer:

June
Wondy will be having a party on June 16th; coz it's birthday #17! Also, the summer sales would have started and DVDs will be cheap as chips!Sorry, I'll stop the David Dickidson-ness. Mind you, not that many people here will know who he is...

July
Sales will still be on...then it'll be the end of another school year (in England, the school holidays are more spread out across the year, resulting in schools closing in mid July). I'll be free like a bird, being able to go cycling every day (if it doesn't rain), plus watch all the DVDs that I bought in the summer sales!

August
Je vais aller en France pour mes vacances. Ce sera merveilleux! I also will probably be doing what I did in the last half of July again; being free like a bird.

September
Yes, this isn't Summer. Yes, I go back to school. But personally, I find September to be one of the best months. It has a golden afternoon feel to it and for that, I love it. I wish that every month could be like September, every day being fresh, every evening seeming like magic, everybody being nice. Sigh... :)

Here in France, it is very cold and there were snow everywhere for the last two weeks. I'm quite getting sick of it!

Can't wait for the sun to come back, the summer, the long evenings on terraces of Paris, hot parties and my job at Disneyland :) ...

Can't wait until the spring equinox so that we'll finally have long hours with the sun again...! T^T I hate it when there's no daylight savings.

I'll have summer classes during summer though so. D: Well, at least my jury duty is in April... even though it's during my entire spring break. *huffs*
Wherever. Whatever. Have a nice day.

I despise Summer. Here are my favorite times of the year...

January- SNOWWWWWW!!

February- My favorite month- Valentine's Day, and I just like it.

March- It's my birthday month, and it is still snowing..

September- It is getting colder, it's my Mom's birthday month and it is very close to the next Platinum Edition's release...

October- It is Halloween (goth geek speaking) and it is the month of the Fall Platinum....

November- Leaves are changing..still colder.....

December- Christmas!!! Family!!!! Fun!!!!! DVD Sales!!!!!! and SNOWWWW!!

Spring and Summer are absolutely marvelous, in my opinion. In particular, I enjoy not wearing socks and the smell of planty things.

well, summer and spring are nice. But, I am afraid of bees. :D So, the winter months do not bother me all that much. I would however, like t be able to not wear a winter jacket anymore. :)

summertime

Post by Joshrzmeup »

Summer sounds good right about now. No school (Hopefully, I don't have to take any summer classes) and I hope to be able to take Ice Skating up at School as a class, even if it will cost money. I want to do something other than work the few hours that I get and dance once a week this summer.

Just the other day I was saying how much I'm looking forward to the warm summer nights and the change in season.

It's those hot summer days I could do wthout.

My favorite time of the year is autumn, though. I love the crisp air and the changing colors.

The same as a few of you here, I'm planning to take two or three classes this summer. I'm kind of behind because the last two semesters I have only been in one class each due to having trouble getting into the ones I need. But still, even with classes during the summer, it won't ruin my favorite season for me. :-) I like college.
